Hello, I’m Veronica

The sky is not completely dark at night. Were the sky absolutely dark, one would not be able to see the silhouette of an object against the sky.

  • HARVEST

The goal of God is harvest. Yes, a harvest that abounds more and more unto righteousness. When you hear the word harvest what comes to mind? The Lord desires to see His children bring the unregenerate world into the union of Christ and to see us, all of His children, walk in true prosperity in all facets of life, especially excelling in the mysteries of His kingdom. The ultimate harvest in the life of the believer is for him to manifest the very nature of God in our born-again spirit, generated by our experience with the word of God

““The one sown among thorns represents one who receives the message, but all of life’s busy distractions, his divided heart, and his ambition for wealth result in suffocating the kingdom message and it becomes fruitless.”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13:22‬ ‭TPT‬‬

In Jesus parable of the sower, as echoed in Mathew chapter thirteen. He emphasized different kinds of soils that represent the condition of the heart in receiving the message of the Kingdom, which is the seed for harvest, and one that caught my attention was the seed that was sown among thorns. When the sower cast his seeds, these precious seeds have the potential to birth a new life from within the soil. Unfortunately, these seeds fell among thorns and thistles. The seed was sown and the expectation was that it will yield a harvest according to its potency but there were deterrents to the sacred seed. The seed was good but the limitations were exceedingly bigger, affecting the expectable results

When the disciples came to Christ secretly to inquire about the meaning of this cryptic message, they learned an important truth from the master, that in order to bear much fruit in the word of God, one has to give himself completely to it, without the distractions of the mundane. He explained; “The one sown among thorns represents one who receives the message, but all of life’s busy distractions, his divided heart, and his ambition for wealth result in suffocating the kingdom message and it becomes fruitless.” Matthew‬ ‭13:22‬ ‭TPT‬‬

True harvest is not automatic. Sometimes I hear people confess great promises and truth concerning God’s word and yet their life is extremely far apart from their declarations. The word does not bring a harvest because we read it or confess it. If it has not gain root in our spirit and influenced us from the inward place, our confession could be done out for sentimental reasons. The word of God gives us legitimate access into the realities of God that affect us positively on this side of life. There is a premium on the seed sown if it does perfect its complete work in our hearts without the distractions of this world that comes against our harvest. It is not how much you know the word of God from an intellectual position, but how deeply it has sunk into your heart by revelation. It is through revelation — insight which is directly linked to a practical life

We are living in a generation where many in the body of Christ do not know how to give themselves to the message of the kingdom in order to capture the heart of God and live it as their mission, and way of life. We are so caught up in the euphoria of the world, to the extent that the living word is not our expression but the manifestation of the thorns. The word is choked. God is boxed in our actions because we not willing to pay the price to see a harvest of God in our lives, extending the frontiers of the Kingdom. Thank God, there is a new generation arising, who are cultivating seeds and waiting for His manifestation in greater power and life. They are tired of an ethical institution without the rich and fuller life of God. They are tired of the church being too normal when we can operate under the influence of the word in supernatural livimg

““But what was sown on good, rich soil represents the one who hears and fully embraces the message of the kingdom. Their lives bear good fruit—some yield a harvest of thirty, sixty, even one hundred times as much as was sown.””
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13:23‬ ‭TPT‬‬

Yes, this category of “embracers” of the word will never be extinguished by the cold distractions and pleasures of this world. Such men and women have offered themselves to God so that He can find expression in them in whatever capacity the word unfolds. The word is the will of God and of His Kingdom, sown into the heart of ordinary men to exercise His governmental policies and power in an organic interface. Satan will come after your pursuit for the harvest of God in your life through the word. Oh, He will come with all kinds of setbacks to fizzle the process of harvest in our lives.

Brothers and sisters, let’s press deep into the truth, amid the many attractions and distractions of our time. God’s purpose is guaranteed but our place is to contend for our faith with a resilient heart to attain the measure of our ordination, or else we forfeit the harvest encapsulated in the word towards this season. Arise, shine, for your light has come!

  • TREE OF LIFE

The Way of the Tree of Life

Did you know that you are an exile? Much as the Jewish people endure the punishment of exile from the holy land, all humanity suffers in exile—driven from the delights of paradise and the potential of eternal life

The LORD exiled Adam and Eve from the garden. It was an act of mercy. Had they remained in the garden, they might have eaten of the fruit of the Tree of Life. God did not create them immortal, yet He left immortality hanging within their grasp. They only needed to reach out and eat of the fruit of the Tree of Life, and that fruit was never forbidden them. Should they do so in their fallen state, they would have been consigned to an immortal existence in rebellion against God, not unlike the Devil, unredeemed and unredeemable for all of eternity: an eternal life of endless death.

In His abundant mercy, God exiled them from paradise and banned them from immortality:

Then the LORD God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of Us, knowing good and evil; and now, he might stretch out his hand, and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”—therefore the LORD God sent him out from the garden of Eden, to cultivate the ground from which he was taken. (Genesis 3:22-23)

God created our souls and our bodies for the Garden of Delight. In some spiritual memory, every human being can still recall the taste of the fruit of the garden. Human beings have a longing wired into their hearts for the place of God, a desire we cannot quite articulate. We thirst for water we have never tasted. We long for fruit we have never eaten. We hunger and thirst for the presence of God. That’s why you are reading these words. That’s why we are always seeking to fill the empty places of our lives, and it is why we are prone to addictions, sensuality, and self-destructive behaviors. We are longing for Eden.

The exile from the garden corresponds to Israel’s exile from the land and this current exile we endure. When the kingdom comes, Israel will return to the land, and the exile will be over. The gates of Eden will open, and we will return to the presence of God. Then all humanity will know the LORD.

So He drove the man out; and at the east of the garden of Eden He stationed the cherubim and the flaming sword which turned every direction to guard the way to the tree of life. (Genesis 3:24)

There is a way back to Eden, past the flaming sword and between the cherubim. The Torah calls this the “derech etz haChayim” the “way of the tree of life.” The word “way (derech, דרך)” appears first in Genesis 3:24. The cherubim embroidered in the Temple curtains allude to the way of the tree of life. They stand sentry before the holy of holies and the presence of God, just as the cherubim in Genesis guard the way to the tree of life. This may be one of the meanings of the rending of the Temple curtain when the Master died. He has made the way between the cherubim. He Himself is “The Way, the Truth and the Life.” The early sect of Jewish believers who followed Him and believed Him called themselves, “The Way.” He has made the way through the curtain, into the garden, to holy of holies and the tree of life.

We have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Yeshua, by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh. (Hebrews 10:19-20)

    BLESSEDNESS IN REDEMPTION

Death is the very nature of all men, whom the life giving spirit of the second Adam has not been embraced through faith. It is by grace we have been saved! Yes, we have been saved from the crutches of death, that dictated human existence through the disobedience of the first man, Adam. We were not saved from death to figure out how to live to overcome death and sin in this world. We were graciously regenerated by the new life of the resurrected Christ into our comatose spirit, becoming enlivened, interfacing with a higher life, an incorruptible life. We are the new species of the Highest expressions, vessels of mercy for the manifestation of His glory.

The principle of Sin and death has been nailed to His cross, and triumphantly, we are marching to Zion, the holy city, clothed with His life and glory

“Wherefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, they are become new. But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave unto us the ministry of reconciliation; to wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not reckoning unto them their trespasses, and having committed unto us the word of reconciliation. We are ambassadors therefore on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beseech you on behalf of Christ, be ye reconciled to God. Him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.”
    ‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17-21‬ ‭ASV‬‬

There is a blessedness of eternal hope in redemption for the follower of Christ

Firstly, the awareness of your transition from slavery into a new and an eternal administration of Christ Jesus, that turns servants into first class citizenship and sons in God brings a great joy within your spirit, possessing every fiber of your being. This is the joy, that you are no more bound forever to the old economy of sin and death, but have been freed and incorporated into the riches of a new life of God in Christ Jesus, clothed in royalty. This spiritual awareness develops us into a more matured adults in the realities of God, to extend the frontiers of our new found Kingdom on this side of life

Secondly, in redemption, our spirits are captured into an eternal hope, unperturbed by the cunning enterprise of the arch enemy of our souls, Satan; the Egyptians, sin and death; pursuing us on every front to hold us back from our heavenly ambitions. This hope in our hearts is anchored in this promise, that the Egyptians we see today shall be seen again no more. There will come a day when Sin and death shall be cast out completely and be destroyed in His appearance. This eternal hope tucked inside our hearts by the Spirit presence in our spirit, is the reason we never give up on this side, against the storms of the enemy in our flesh. The sting of death produces all kinds of evil in our flesh, to try to dissuade and weaken our conviction in this blessedness we have in Christ.

“But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting? The sting of death is sin; and the power of sin is the law: but thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
    ‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:54-57‬ ‭ASV‬‬

Our preeminence is Christ. Our eternal destination is Christ. Our eternal journey is Christ, and the live we live and move daily, must be from Christ Jesus.

There are seasons in this journeys, when all hell will broke loose on you, trying to kill this life in you, so as to shift you back to the former way of life, wrapped in self and bondage, instead of resting and functioning in the life of victory in Christ Jesus. Brothers and Sisters, flesh and blood shall not enter the kingdom of God. What will endure to the end is the life of Christ that flows through us. So let us look beyond our adversities, temptations and failures, and hold on to the life giving spirit of the second Adam in faith. It is of Him we have the victory through the darkest days, when our feet are hanging on fiery furnace of sin and afflictions. The flesh profit nothing. Stay, abide in Christ, just as you were redeemed without your effort, but His faith in your heart

“Fear not the things which thou art about to suffer: behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee the crown of life. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.”
    ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭2:10-11‬ ‭ASV‬‬

His words to the Church of Smyrna, still echoes into the corridors of the church today…

Jesus has conquered sin and brought us out from Egypt. Let us hold on to Him until we sing this glorious song with the Lord someday; “Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting? Maranatha Come! Our feet may be swollen with weariness and doubts but we look to you. Maranatha, Come!

CHRIST JESUS, THE WEALTH OF GOD

There are days I feel so miserable, even in the sufficiency of life, when my eyes is not directly set on Christ Jesus. There is a new generation of believers, who are by faith, willing to draw from the abundance of the riches of Christ, because they have come to realize the insufficiency and frailty of their mortal life, without Christ. Welcome to a new era, where wise men are retreating to seek the face of Christ, to grow into intimacy in His presence, and mature into a stature of true overcomers

Colossians‬ ‭1:27-28‬ ‭CSB‬‬ “God wanted to make known among the Gentiles the glorious wealth of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. We proclaim him, warning and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone mature in Christ.”

Are you ready to cash out? To be mature in Christ is to be rich in the multifaceted realities of God which is domiciled in Christ Jesus. The goal of the gospel is to draw fallen, bankrupt men, into a life of the divine economy, which is Christ Jesus, to be the expressive application in our born again spirit. God want to mirror His life in us, so His household; the church, can relate with Him in love, and touch the world in accordance with His purpose and plans.

Such men, who have yielded themselves to the government from above, they do not live from the inclinations of the soul life, which is their individual self, corrupted by the fall. Jesus, in the gospel of Mathew, admonished us, through the disciples, to deny “that self life” which seeks to rebel at any given time against the government of the Father, seeking personal ambitions as opposed to Gods will. “Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone wants to follow after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”
    ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭16:24‬ ‭CSB‬‬

The wealth of God is the Christ, and the poverty of men is to be alive without Christ

Through personal observations, I see a church, who is rich in earth goods but deprived of the rich and fuller life of God. The difference between the church and the world is the source of our life. We are not competing with the world on the same stage of life. Though we are in the world yet we are not from the world. The life we live is supplied from the glorious wealth of the mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. The world operates from the economy of the self, corrupted by sin but Jesus is the head of the church and it is through His life we live, move and have our being. This rich well should not be filled with stones and covered with man made traditions. It is time to draw from the wells of our salvation [See Isaiah 12:1-5]

One of the key component of exercising ourselves in this all inclusive riches of Christ is humility. The worlds approach to life is based on natural prowess and abilities. The world depends solely on self efforts. That is the bottom line of every human enterprise. So the goal of the world is self development and living to please self and fulfill personal ambitions and vain glory. On the side of the church, we outsource our life from Christ, and in order to do so, one must come to the end of self and solely depend on the supply of God from the riches of Christ Jesus in our born again spirit. This was epitomized in life of Paul when he was converted into Christ. He trumpeted so loudly… “Christ lives in me”

Galatians‬ ‭2:20‬ ‭CSB “I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”‬‬

Many people do not know Christ from this end. Do you know why? Because Christ is not the life we live. It took me many years before I saw the light of Christ being the life I have to yield to in my everyday life, if I want to please the Father in my vessel. Until we grasp the rich life of God in our born again spirit, and by faith aligned with that rich life in our renewed minds, We will continue our walk on the same path like unbelievers, who depend on the god of self in all things. Most of us in the body of Christ see Christ Jesus as the option for our personal ambitions and journey when the going gets tough for us. In our hearts, we are saying; “Jesus handle the tough challenges and let us deal with the day to day familiar life.” Jesus want to be Lord in every detail of our lives. If we see that, we will learn to trust Him and get Him involved in everything. That is what true Christianity is

To live like that makes us carnal in most part of our daily lives. We use our carnal judgements, and approach everything, disconnected from our source. Just as we received Christ, we must continue in Him to the end. He is our life from the start to the end. And just as we received Christ, not on the basis of our human strength, we should love, pray, give, smile, plan, work, and impact every space of this life in the fullness of His life. Positionally, we may confess that Christ is our wisdom, redemption, and righteousness, and that is an undeniable truth in Christ and yet experientially be bankrupt in all these areas in our life. Confessing truth does not mean in practice, our lives are yielded to that higher life to manipulate many of our decisions. [ See James 4:6, 2 Corinthians 1210, Galatians 2:20-21, Colossians 1:18-20, Ephesians 3:7-10, John 3:6-7]

“This grace was given to me — the least of all the saints — to proclaim to the Gentiles the incalculable riches of Christ, and to shed light for all about the administration of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things. This is so that God’s multi-faceted wisdom may now be made known through the church to the rulers and authorities in the heavens. This is according to his eternal purpose accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
    ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭3:8-11‬ ‭CSB‬‬

Christ Jesus is the compendium of the wealth of God for the enrichment of the church.

He is not just an experience we waiting for in the distant future. He is the true riches of God for our exploration and enjoyment today, and tomorrow, and forevermore

    ENLIVENED SPECIES

Without any iota of doubt, we all know that love is supposed to be experiential. For some reason, in the household of God, love have become mere information through cognitive learning. We cram many scriptures into our brain but we are devoid of the spirit and life of the letter in our spirit. Oh, that we can find God, His love, His reality through the guidance of the Spirit. Our hearts will explode, and we will be awakened into our authentic source of that fuller and richer life that domiciled within the triune God

Ephesians‬ ‭2:4-5‬ ‭GNTD, “But God’s mercy is so abundant, and his love for us is so great, that while we were spiritually dead in our disobedience he brought us to life with Christ. It is by God’s grace that you have been saved.”‬‬

HIS LOVE FOR US IS SO GREAT

Gods love is like a mighty ocean; it never runs dry. His mercies is incomprehensible. When we didn’t deserved to be given a new chapter, living and moving in Him as our life, He stepped beyond the boundaries of justice and showed us mercy. The depths of Gods love is so deep and unimaginable from the plane of the flesh, and due to this limitation, not many in the household of God has tasted or appreciated this liquid love.

The scripture said, “His love for us is so great.” How deep have we explored this great love of God towards us? I bet you, if we capture a glimpse of the divine love in our spirit everything in this world will lose its relevance in our hearts. The love of God is not just great in its nature and essence like a mighty city. The explosion of His love towards us is so amazing.

You can gain access acquiring information about love, and describe it to the whole world, wether in song or speech, and yet be bankrupt in the beauties of that love in your heart. The reason is that, love is experiential rather head knowledge. If His love towards me is great then I must be drowned into that measure in all shapes and form in the Holy Ghost. The Father loves us dearly wether we know it or not. His love is so great towards us, and it behooves us to make a spiritual expedition into it as darlings of His finish work in Christ

WHILE WE WERE SPIRITUALLY DEAD IN DISOBEDIENCE

When man, clothed with shame and rebellion, left the Eden of God; a new civilization of death has been pioneered. We started operating from the plane of the flesh; a departure from the life of God Adam was incorporated into prior to the infamous rebellion to the will of God. Literally it felt like man did not die but the truth is… In his disobedience to God, the full reality of sin an death clothed his spirit, soul and body, reducing him to a mere mortal. He needed the life of God in order to interface with his maker but sin has rendered him dead in every sense. Only love could make us alive. Only love could dispense himself into us in that comatose reality of sin. Even in that state, where our will was under the influence of the enemy of God, the plan and purpose of God towards us, wrapped in His love never ceased. His great love towards us was still great. Unfortunately, we couldn’t embrace His love in death and continued in rebellion, yet He never gave up on us

“AND YOU [He made alive], when you were dead (slain) by [your] trespasses and sins In which at one time you walked [habitually]. You were following the course and fashion of this world [were under the sway of the tendency of this present age], following the prince of the power of the air. [You were obedient to and under the control of] the [demon] spirit that still constantly works in the sons of disobedience [the careless, the rebellious, and the unbelieving, who go against the purposes of God].”
    ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2:1-2‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

HE BROUGHT US TO LIFE WITH CHRIST

The purpose of God towards us is to experience His life. The Bible has a common theme of a Father who desires to dispense Himself into man, so we could express His nature and in His likeness exercise dominion on earth. Gods purpose through creation was not to create man to be on his own and live according to his own ambitions. The will of the enemy is to colonize our hearts with his own life, and by doing so, we become slaves to whomsoever we plead allegiance to. Jesus was the ultimate goal of the Father of love to awaken us from death, living from a new plane called eternal life. That eternal life is not in the future. It is the eternal Christ shared with those who believe in Him, to live heaven on earth. Christ is our life because of love. Henceforth, draw from that all inclusive economy in the spirit, given to us by God

“For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new, real] life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, Who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in [the splendor of His] glory.”
    ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3:3-4‬ ‭AMPC‬‬

In His great love toward us, He saved us from death and made us to be alive in the life of Christ. He brought us into union with the life of the Christ through faith. This is the most incredible hallmark of the fathers love. He did not love us from afar. He came to this sinful world, through the Son of His love; Christ Jesus. And in His crucifixion, burial, resurrection and ascension, we gained a new stature in Him.

We who believed in Him have become the temples of God. That is to say, we are the new vessels from death, filled with the rich and fuller life of God. We are one Spirit with God. That is a new blending into His fullness. We are complete and share the essence of God in our born again spirit. Brothers and Sisters in the Lord, we lack nothing in this new life. We have become new creations of God, who were not born In spite of our disobedience and death, God gave us a new life. A new life is not just a new beginning or a mere pass from one stage to another, but rather an infusion of the immortal spirit into the spirit of men, so we can interface with God on this side of life and more [See 1 Corinthians 6:16, 1 Corinthians 3:16-17, 1 Corinthians 5:17, 21, John 3:16, Colossians 3:1-4]

    WHOM SHALL WE GO?

All this couldn’t have happened if God was bankrupt in mercy, and of love and grace towards us. When I think of the mercies, love and grace of God, all I see is the quality of life that burns with passion to touch mankind. I love the words of Peter to Jesus, when they were questioned concerning their allegiance, when others veered off from the path of the living logos, pursuing other things. “Lord, to whom shall we go? These words still echoes into the corridors of our distracted society. “Jesus said to the Twelve, Will you also go away? [And do you too desire to leave Me?] Simon Peter answered, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words (the message) of eternal life. And we have learned to believe and trust, and [more] we have come to know [surely] that You are the Holy One of God, the Christ (the Anointed One), the Son of the living God.” (John‬ ‭6:67-69‬ ‭AMPC‬‬)

Oh, living life from heaven, full of grace and mercy. We cleave to you. We stay with you to the end, come what may. Whom else shall we go. What satisfies like you. We have come to know that you are the satisfying wells of salvation. And, Daily, we cast our buckets into you, drawing from the incomprehensible riches of your life
