Death is the very nature of all men, whom the life giving spirit of the second Adam has not been embraced through faith. It is by grace we have been saved! Yes, we have been saved from the crutches of death, that dictated human existence through the disobedience of the first man, Adam. We were not saved from death to figure out how to live to overcome death and sin in this world. We were graciously regenerated by the new life of the resurrected Christ into our comatose spirit, becoming enlivened, interfacing with a higher life, an incorruptible life. We are the new species of the Highest expressions, vessels of mercy for the manifestation of His glory.
The principle of Sin and death has been nailed to His cross, and triumphantly, we are marching to Zion, the holy city, clothed with His life and glory
“Wherefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature: the old things are passed away; behold, they are become new. But all things are of God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and gave unto us the ministry of reconciliation; to wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto himself, not reckoning unto them their trespasses, and having committed unto us the word of reconciliation. We are ambassadors therefore on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beseech you on behalf of Christ, be ye reconciled to God. Him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.”
2 Corinthians 5:17-21 ASV
There is a blessedness of eternal hope in redemption for the follower of Christ

Firstly, the awareness of your transition from slavery into a new and an eternal administration of Christ Jesus, that turns servants into first class citizenship and sons in God brings a great joy within your spirit, possessing every fiber of your being. This is the joy, that you are no more bound forever to the old economy of sin and death, but have been freed and incorporated into the riches of a new life of God in Christ Jesus, clothed in royalty. This spiritual awareness develops us into a more matured adults in the realities of God, to extend the frontiers of our new found Kingdom on this side of life
Secondly, in redemption, our spirits are captured into an eternal hope, unperturbed by the cunning enterprise of the arch enemy of our souls, Satan; the Egyptians, sin and death; pursuing us on every front to hold us back from our heavenly ambitions. This hope in our hearts is anchored in this promise, that the Egyptians we see today shall be seen again no more. There will come a day when Sin and death shall be cast out completely and be destroyed in His appearance. This eternal hope tucked inside our hearts by the Spirit presence in our spirit, is the reason we never give up on this side, against the storms of the enemy in our flesh. The sting of death produces all kinds of evil in our flesh, to try to dissuade and weaken our conviction in this blessedness we have in Christ.
“But when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting? The sting of death is sin; and the power of sin is the law: but thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
1 Corinthians 15:54-57 ASV
Our preeminence is Christ. Our eternal destination is Christ. Our eternal journey is Christ, and the live we live and move daily, must be from Christ Jesus.
There are seasons in this journeys, when all hell will broke loose on you, trying to kill this life in you, so as to shift you back to the former way of life, wrapped in self and bondage, instead of resting and functioning in the life of victory in Christ Jesus. Brothers and Sisters, flesh and blood shall not enter the kingdom of God. What will endure to the end is the life of Christ that flows through us. So let us look beyond our adversities, temptations and failures, and hold on to the life giving spirit of the second Adam in faith. It is of Him we have the victory through the darkest days, when our feet are hanging on fiery furnace of sin and afflictions. The flesh profit nothing. Stay, abide in Christ, just as you were redeemed without your effort, but His faith in your heart

“Fear not the things which thou art about to suffer: behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days. Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee the crown of life. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith to the churches. He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.”
Revelation 2:10-11 ASV
His words to the Church of Smyrna, still echoes into the corridors of the church today…
Jesus has conquered sin and brought us out from Egypt. Let us hold on to Him until we sing this glorious song with the Lord someday; “Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting? Maranatha Come! Our feet may be swollen with weariness and doubts but we look to you. Maranatha, Come!
