JESUS IS NOT ASHAMED OF YOU

Almost overnight…Change Gravity of Grace Note: Today marks a very important milestone in my journey with Jesus. Exactly three years ago, I felt born again, again, after years and years of addiction to a religion of self effort, works, condemnation, shame, guilt and sin consciousness. Have the liberty to check my encounter with Jesus, at the ABOUT page on gravity of grace, for more details. I celebrate the loveliness of Christ Jesus with you in mind; for who God is and all that He has done through Christ Jesus…giving humanity a platform, to share in the influence of His grace. Nate Pyle inspirational post, is my grace birthday to you. May you experience the goodness and mercies of God through this life terrain, as you walk with Jesus, the lover of your soul. Lots of love from me to you! – McDaniels Gyamfi
Shame is, perhaps, the greatest isolating force there is; keeping grace an unattainable arm’s length away from those needing it most.
I’ve noticed how Jesus never shamed those who knew all too well the pain of shame. Jesus called the prostitute – she who was used and shamed by the same people – daughter. To the woman who had five husbands, he offered living water. To the man born blind – who was shamed and whose parents were shamed for some unknown sin because their son was born blind – Jesus lifted up saying his blindness was for the glory of God.
When the rich young man walked away, Jesus did not shame him. Jesus did not shame Peter for his denial, but breathed encouragement over him as he told Peter to feed his sheep. He praised the Samaritan woman. He touched the lepers. He told called the children to himself.
Of so many people, Jesus was not ashamed. And Jesus is not ashamed of you.

You, with the deep down secret of things done in darkness – Jesus is not ashamed of.
You, with the pulsating fear of being found out – Jesus is not ashamed of.
You, who feels ashamed of the perpetration done to you – Jesus is not ashamed of.
You, who is ashamed of the image in the mirror – Jesus is not ashamed of.
You, who have yelled too loud and too inappropriately – Jesus is not ashamed of.
You, who have been cast out by those ashamed of you – Jesus is not ashamed of.
You, who have returned to the addictive cycle again and again – Jesus is not ashamed of.
Me, who feels not good enough – Jesus is not ashamed of.
The Gospel good news shining light on the darkness of shame is that Jesus is not ashamed to call you sister or brother (Hebrews 2:11)

WHAT WENT WRONG WITH JESUS AFTER CHRISTMAS?
I love Christmas I love it to the Max I love the lights and the red ribbons I love the good will messagesChristmas is almost here. Many church planning committees are within schedule, planning to bring Jesus out of obscurity into the open. Detailed plans and effort are given for the grandeur display, of the Son of God. Many believers are in great anticipation for Jesus centered sermons, songs, concerts and shows, to ignite their emotions. Excitement is in the air, and we all can’t wait for the pomp and pageantry of the celebration of a life time.
I love how we act nicely towards each other
I love the zeal and the enthusiasm of the preacher
The old story of Jesus birth is retold in new depths
I love to see Jesus at the center of it all
Thank God for Christmas…
He is given His place, in all areas of life
From the board room to the media house of America
He tops viewer ratings in all media house
Kids are going to see Prince Jesus again in a manger
I almost forgot the rush to the mall for sales
The rush to the post of office, for people we have ignored for centuries
What about the gifts and cards in the mail box
CHRISTIANITY IS CHRIST…it is very simple, yet many of the followers of Christ miss it. The new created beings have received the very nature of God, to display His life in the open, everyday of their life. We cannot do anything worthwhile in this life, without his life flowing through us. What religion has done is, making Jesus a cult figure, which is brought in the open on certain occasions, to receive homage from its many followers and return back into hiding.
THE SILENCE AFTER NEW YEAR’S EVE. Like an old country musician, who has faded into obscurity; he hangs his old guitar at his old ranch, with no recognition and fame, but a flood tide of questions swept over his soul. He ask with tears flowing through his cheeks; Where is the love? Where is the applause? Where are all the ten thousand of fans who chanted my name in big arenas, and help him me soar like superman? I have asked myself these same questions on several occasions in regards to Christ and the church. On top of my list is “what went wrong with Jesus,
after Christmas? The light of the world, in complete obscurity is unbelievable. Why do we love the festivities of Christianity with passion, and neglect the persuasions of God in our hearts, for intimate relationships? I have come to believe that if Christianity is redefine as Christ… ( centered on Christ); we will do greater works, and experience greater peace in our personal lives. I also believe that God has been misrepresented to the Church; He is like Santa to most of us.Why do you say that, McDaniels?
Most believers (At Christmas) become Christ centered…with their unveiled faces beholding as in a mirror, the glory of how God gave Jesus to humanity, begins to reflect the same glory in their lives, through the power of the spirit. Paul talks about it this way; “And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. 2 Corinthians 3:18(NIV)
Can you imagine how our lives will be transformed, if the altogether lovely Jesus, sits on the throne of our hearts, in all we do. (Everyday will be Christmas of sort)
SIX GUARANTEED TURN-AROUND, and many more:
1. Joy which is a reflection of the Character of Christ, would emanate out of our lives effortlessly, as we stay in His presence daily- You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. (Psalm 16:11 NIV)
- I keep my eyes always on the Lord. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. (Psalm 16:8 (NIV)
- I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.” (Psalm 16:2 (NIV)
- When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them (Luke 2:17-18(NIV)
- So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard? (Galatians 3:5 NIV)
racial lines are thrown into the trash. (Look at the smiles on the faces of Ushers and the protocol team…they welcome the poor and the nobodies with a heart full of love)
- They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. (Acts2:42-44 NIV)
A PRAYER TO PRAY…Father God, as we reflect on who Jesus is today, may we all through the help of the Spirit, be drawn to the awesome presence of Christ, in our hearts, as we receive supernatural empowerment for greater works and greater peace, only you can give. Amen!

THE GRAVITY OF GRACE
“Almost all unbelievers believe that, if they can change their behavior, they will be in good shape with God. To think that you have to put your acts together before you come to God, is Satan’s agenda, to stop you from enjoying the free gift of righteousness, and God’s peace”
“In our depraved state; without Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit, we can never on our own, be in good shape. Come home, just as you are, and be transformed into His image, effortlessly”

YOU ARE NOT A SINNER BECAUSE YOU SIN
“Almost all unbelievers believe that, if they can change their behavior, they will be in good shape with God”
Jesus, Our Savior, passionately and tenderly, declared His heartbeat, in the gospel, written by John:
“I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me – I have other sheep that do not come from this sheepfold. I must bring them too, and they will listen to my voice, so that there will be one flock and one shepherd. (John 10:14, 16 NET
Jesus had a different attitude towards the unsaved, and the despicable in society. Jesus called the unsaved “other sheep”…I don’t have to delve too much into this. Wow! He is a shepherd to a detached sheep, wandering in the wilderness. This is so good to be true…it changes my perception towards the unsaved, and rekindles my passion to reach out beyond “his own” to tell the other sheep; “come home, God is not angry with you as you’ve been made to believe” “Come home, come home”

OTHER SHEEP…There are millions of our brothers and sisters, who are outside of the Church. They have never felt comfortable to come and be a part of the sheepfold, as God’s family. I can only describe them as; “being on the run, with a belly full of guilt and emptiness”. They think; first – they have to put their acts together, in their own power and ability, then they will come to Christ. They have not heard about the good news of their freedom from God’s anger, legalism and the gift of righteousness, on the basis of grace. They have only heard partial gospel of their sins, condemnation, and how bad they are; heading to perdition.
ONE IS NOT A SINNER BECAUSE HE SIN, ONE IS A SINNER BECAUSE…Please, tell them they are not “sinners” because of their sinful deeds. They are sinners because they have not believed in God’s one and only son….they have also refused to accept the undeserved payment of their innocence, and the goodness of God, which is the power unto salvation for all who will believe. Almost all unbelievers believe that, if they can change their behavior, they will be in good shape with God. In our depraved state, without Christ in us, through the power of the Holy Spirit, we can never be in good shape, on our own. This understanding will change the way we approach evangelism and sets captives free from the cave of their inability to surrender to God. The salvation deal is not a behavioral goal, but a transformation of the heart.
“This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person’s failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him John 3:16-18 MSG
WHEN THE GOODNESS OF GOD IS SHARED…how God thinks about humanity through what He has done through Christ Jesus is shared with the world of sin… the Holy Spirit, immediately goes to work in the heart, to shine the light of the glory of Christ, for healing and transformation.

Romans 2:4 NKJV…”Or Do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? What brings repentance? It is in the goodness of God. Paul was not ashamed to talk about the goodness of God to the undeserved; he knew that, righteousness by faith could only be revealed to the unsaved through the gospel. He writes… Romans 1:16, 17 NKJV “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.”
TELL THE WORLD…Please, tell them, God himself will perfect that which concerns them…the drugs, addiction, witchcraft, voodoo, hate, adultery, lesbianism, gambling, pornography and all derivatives of the fallen nature. Paul put it this way… “Because God is working in you to help you want to do and be able to do what pleases him” (Philippians 2:13 NCV) It is the Spirit which works in us both to will and to do of God’s good pleasure; this working of grace in our hearts, puts us in alignment with God, as one progressively walk with Him.

To focus all our energies on one’s behavior change, as a yardstick to set up a relationship with God, is not the gospel. The gospel takes the burden from your shoulders as you place your faith in Christ, to appropriate God’s mercy and goodness. To try to save oneself through discipline and self denials will only do the outer work of change, not the transformation from the inside out. This form of righteousness is what Paul call it; “my own righteousness”.
Philippians 3:9 NKJV… and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness, which is from God by faith. The gospel is what God has wrought for humanity, through the finished work of Christ, on the cross of Calvary, independent of our efforts and performance; it hinges on faith alone” – 2 Corinthians 5:21(NIV) God made him who had no sin to be sin[a] for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God
A PRAYER TO PRAY… You can be free from the guilt of the death sentence, already paid on your behalf by Christ if and only you will believe in His person as God’s son,
and His gracious work for your freedom. I entreat you to come home, my friend…Pray with me and come home to the open arms of your gracious Father;“Dear God, I know I’m a sinner, I know I am not where I want to be, and I want forgiveness! I believe Jesus died on the cross, to pay the price for my sins. Come into my life Jesus to be my Lord and Savior! Thank you for the gift of life eternal and rest, flooding my soul” Amen!
Share the joy of Christian fellowship with other believers & Share your Christ experience with the world. Shalom
