PROFOUND LOVE FOR THE WORD (KIMYAL TRIBE OF PAPUA, INDONESIA)
I had a teary eye watching the Kimyal tribe of Papua, Indonesia… celebrating the arrival of the New Testament Bible in their own language, with tears of joy. This was inspiring to watch, and extremely sobering.
John 1:14 -The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
To them the Bible was not a piece of book you add to your book collection, covered with dust. It was the coming of the living logos into their land. They have labored, prayed, believed and waited for this day, just as Simeon waited for the arrival of the Son of God. They could not contain their joy, as the old generation handed the Bible to the new generation, amidst singing and dancing. So inspiring!
Most of us living on this part of the world where access to the Bible, in whatever form or shape is so enormous, takes the word for granted. We have time for everything, but no appeal to the Bible. I trust the Lord that, this precious moment will awaken a brand new obsession and passion in your heart, to see the Bible in a new light.
Revelation 1:17-18
17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. 18 I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.Lets Pray: Father God, forgive us for taking your word for granted. Renew our hearts with your Holy Spirit, and save us from the pull of this world. May your word become alive in our hearts, as we daily walk under the persuasion of your truth. We humbly ask you, in the name of your Son Jesus Christ. Amen!

25 NEGLECTFUL LIFE LESSONS
Being successful in life, should not be limited to money and wealth creation, whiles organic relationships are trampled upon, on the side-walk of life. In my estimation, quality relationships (With God and Man) should be the top priority of human pursuit. We must face each day of our existence on this side of life, with a great quest to connect with a personal God, and a gracious heart towards the human race. We are all much designed, connecting the dots of purpose and influence, in every sphere of life…God, Me, You, and all others, are the playing body. We must play according to the standards of God; His graceful opinion towards men. Go out there today, show forth your the virtues of God – Letting our light shine before men is our Christian duty, and it should not be neglected.
1. Your love must be real.
2. Hate what is evil
3. Hold on to what is good.
4. Love each other like brothers and sisters.
5. Give each other more honor than you want for yourselves.
6. Do not be lazy but work hard, serving the Lord with all your heart.
7. Be joyful because you have hope.
8. Be patient (Don’t quit) when trouble comes
9. Pray at all times.
10. Share with God’s people who need help.
11. Bring strangers in need into your homes.
12. Wish good for those who harm you; wish them well and do not curse
13. Laugh with your happy friends when they’re happy
14. Share tears with friends who are down
15. Live in peace with each other.
16. Do not be proud (the great somebody)
17. Make friends with (nobodies) those who seem unimportant.
18. Do not think how smart you are…
19. If someone does wrong to you, Don’t hit back; discover beauty in everyone.
20. Do what is honorable in everyone’s eyes
21. Do your best to live in peace with everyone.
22. Don’t let evil get the best of you; get the best of evil by doing good.
23. If you see your hater being thirsty, get him a drink
24. If you see your enemy hungry, go buy that person lunch
25. Leave God, to do the judging; “He’ll take care of things”– McDaniels Gyamfi

THE HARRRD ROAD OF A WASTEFUL LIFE AND THE GOD WHO CARES
Deep down, there is a still small voice, persuading you to believe that your life is meant to be something more. You begin to wonder, reflecting on wher
e you are, at this moment in life (the regret, pain, hurt, sin, addiction, fear, miss opportunities and lack of interest in things that have eternal value);“Is this all there is for me in this life or there is something bigger and loftier, than my mind can conceive”?
The persuasions of God in your heart, is the driving force that brings one to a place of importance and action, if one learns to yield his life to this higher purpose; not succumbing to the pressure of the culture, built on illusions. John Piper in his book Don’t Waste Your Life, gives a clarion call to a generation who only live for themselves, because of our indulgence in some totally absurd philosophical ideas and concepts which has neither root nor basis in the word of God. He has this to say; “It’s easy to slip through life without taking any risks-without making your life count. But life ought not to be wasted. You don’t need to know a lot of things to make a lasting difference in the world, but you do have to know the few, great, unchanging, and glorious things that matter and
be willing to live and to die for them”. Don’t live your life solely obsessed with the illusions of the American Dream; you’ve been wired for something bigger, beautiful, magnificent, and loftier than the American Dream. Jesus is the model of one’s existence. We discover His purpose through His agonizing prayers, at Gethsemane. He prayed to His father; “Now My soul is troubled, and what shall I say? ‘Father, save Me from this hour? But for this purpose I came to this hour”. (John 12:27 NKJV) He lived a fulfilled life, to the Father’s joy – the cross was the symbol of His finished work, to bring man back to God in an organic relationship.
THE MEANING OF LIFE is a philosophical question concerning the significance of life or existence in general. It can also be expressed in different forms, such as “Why are we here?”, “What is life all about?”, and “What is the purpose of existence?” It has been the subject of much philosophical, scientific, and theological speculation throughout history. There have been a large number of proposed answers to these questions from many cultural and ideological backgrounds. Author Timothy Tang, in his book Real Answers to The Meaning of Life and Finding Happiness, tries to answer these questions by saying; “Life or human existence has no real meaning or purpose because human existence occurred out of a random chance in nature, and anything that exists by chance has no intended purpose”
It is totally absurd to say that human existence occurred out of a random chance in nature, and anything that exists by chance has no intended purpose. This and other false misrepresentation of our identity has swayed the masses, swimming in the sea of selfishness and emptiness. Friend, you are not an accident neither are you here by chance… you are not just a face in a crowd. You were created and wired by a Creative God, (See Genesis 1:26,
Jeremiah 1:1-5) with a unique identity, to fulfill God’s heartbeat on earth, through relationship with Jesus Christ. In the Westminster Shorter Catechism, the first question is: “What is the chief end of Man?”, that is, “What is Man’s main purpose?” The answer is: “Man’s chief end is to glorify God, and enjoy him forever”. God requires one to embrace the gift of eternal life: Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. (John 17:3 NIV) This is the essence of our life -“to know God”
EPIC AWAKENING… You are not a random piece in an unplanned earth – you are a piece of the master. He has His signature scribbled on your total makeup, just as an artist code’s his painting with his signature, to raise its value. Don’t quit, don’t give up to the false misconceptions of your identity, and what is in stored for your life, on this side of the cross. The Godly purpose for your life is not discovered within a day… your rich relationship with Jesus Christ, will cause an epic awakening in your heart to unlock an activity of God, you can live and die for. Abraham, Moses, Joshua, Sampson, David and the entire saints who lived in the Biblical times were all ordinary men who were found by
God, and received the breath of His activity, at a set period of their ordinary life. They were transformed by a purpose greater than their ordinary life. God has not ceased or frozen in His activity towards humanity… Jesus set the mark straight, to the Pharisees who opposed Him, when He healed a paralytic man on the Sabbath. The healing of the Paralytic man revealed the work of God, discovered and executed by the Son- In his defense, Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working.” (John 5:17 NIV)Don’t believe in the lie of the enemy, and sit behind the fence, wasting away in a sinking, purposeless sand of life. Make the decision today, to anchor your life on things that have an eternal perspective and value. I believe that, God is persuading our stony hearts to surrender to Him, so we can capture what matters, within this prophetic season. Everything we have – wealth, riches, property, family etc. and all that we can do…blogging, singing, organizing, leading, cooking, giving, encouraging etc. on this side of eternity, must be tied up to a purpose greater and bigger than ourselves…We only enjoy the crumbs. (God’s crumbs are indescribable)
TREASURED CLAY BALLS… I read a story about a man who was exploring caves by the seashore. In one of the caves, he found a canvas bag with a bunch of hardened clay balls. It was like someone had rolled clay balls and left them out in the sun to bake. They didn’t look like much, but they intrigued the man, so he took the bag out of the
cave with him. As he strolled along the beach, he would throw the clay balls one at a time out into the ocean as far as he could. He thought little about it until he dropped one of the balls and it cracked open on a rock. Inside was a beautiful, precious stone. Excited the man started breaking open the remaining clay balls. Each contained a similar treasure. He found thousands of dollars worth of jewels, in the 20 or so clay balls he had left. Then it struck him. He had been on the beach a long time. He had thrown maybe 50 or 60 of the clay balls with their hidden treasure into the ocean waves. Instead of thousands of dollars in treasure, he could have taken home tens of thousands, but he just threw it away. (Retrieved http://www.inspirationpeak.com)You can surely have 99 reasons to live in regret at this very moment, and let every ounce of hope in your heart fizzle into the thin air, and live the rest of your life despairing about how unfair life has been to you. The opportunities you couldn’t cease or the things you could have done better, had the right people sailed with you through the high seas of life, with its unpredictable waves. A heart full of hurt and unanswerable questions will keep one stuck in the prison of the past; blaming yourself and others, instead of looking ahead to discover something bigger and greater than life. Life doesn’t owe us a thing, nobody owe us an apology. You should lift your eyes beyond life predicaments, and look unto Jesus Christ, who has become all that we can become in God. Don’t reject the wooing of the Spirit. Be happy and thankful to God, to be here today, even in your mess; cast it all on God. Surely, there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
THOUGHTS TO CHEW ON… Friend, prayerfully chew on these simple yet profound questions and thoughts below, in the presence of God as you find meaning or
activate your purpose in life…
We lived to be loved – Are you embracing God’s love for you?
We live for missions – Are you sharing the love of God with unbelievers?
We live to worship – Worship is not music; music is a medium for a relationship of love with God!
I live to… – What is the essence of your life, today?Congratulations! You have found and captured God’s heart and how He feels towards you. Thank you for taking the time to journey with me in finding purpose. Your comments, likes, feedback, sharing, etc. is the lubricant for greater acceleration of the gospel, through gravity of grace. You are in my prayers! Love and peace to you!! – McDaniels Gyamfi
