Winning is Internal
You have been through so much
Wounded and bruised on all sides
Standing at the edge of this cliff;
Feet slipping with disturbing thoughts
The world is a narrow path, dotted
With uncertainties and cruelty
A terrain, victory so unpredictable
Coup de grace may seem the only option
You, you have the warriors ethos in you
Shield thy heart from the volcanic ramblings
Forlorn hope, in frontal attack, come what may;
Conquering your personal demons and fears
You win, from the inside out!
-
SCARS AND ROSES
If the door slides open
And you have the chance
To walk through the edges
Of a friends secret past;
You’ve been handed with great
Opportunity to see and heal
It is unwise to summon strangers
To visit this cherished museum, of scars.
The world would be a better place
If friends and love ones can be LOYALCopyright 2014 || McDaniels Gyamfi

REAL QUESTIONS
Real questions, allow us to process or to look at things from a different window. You can open up to yourself or to the world
regarding these questions. My idea is not to get your answers through this channel. My aim is to help you have self talk, until you arrive at a place where you can view life from the lenses of God’s word. Why these particular questions, McDaniels? I have personally ask myself these questions, so many times the last few weeks or more.One of the dominant thought or process flaming through my heart, within my personal journey, is the question of relevancy of Christianity to our daily life. It seems we are so indulged in the ritualistic aspect of Christianity, and by so doing most of us has lost our bearing in our pilgrim journey. Christianity should make sense to the pilot just as it make sense to the caveman. I will be sharing my soul in subsequent posts. But for the mean time…the questions!
1. Do you love showing off?
2. Do you love the Church or your Pastor?
3. Is Christianity real and relevant to you?
4. Are you so religious but empty?
5. What is your purpose here?
6. Are you happy?
7. Does life make sense to you?
8. Have you forgiven yourself?
9. Are you trying so hard to please people?
10. Have you tried something new of late?11. How may I help you?

The Simplest yet Powerful Gospel
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtility so your
minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ (2 Corinthians 11:3 KJV)
There are uncountable formulas concocted by the religious benchmarks and the unregenerate souls; a misguided reality being accepted as a way of life by the church, because of its complexity nature. Christianity is all about an understanding of your identity in Christ, and the beautiful expression or effects of such glorious position, through faith in Him.
O’ pilgrim soul…sleeping on the wayward street; do you know who you are?
There is no science propounded by men that reveals who you are better than the simple gospel of Christ. The gospel paints a better picture of yourself in God. My passion ans obsession is to see the beauty of the person of Christ. It is in the revealed knowledge of Christ in our hearts, that open us us to who we are. He is the mirror… our duty is to look unto Him and glow in all aspects of life. It doesn’t matter how zealous you are for God, if what goes through the corridors of your heart is not that which brings freedom and satisfaction to your soul, you can never live the quality life of your new identity. In His last discourse with the disciples, Jesus opened their heart to the solid foundation of Christianity. He has this to say;
John 15:5 (HCSB) 5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him produces much fruit, because you can do nothing without Me.
I am not here to burst your spiritual bubble…am here to point you to the truth of the gospel which says; “The life (wisdom, holiness, sanctification, righteousness etc.) I live now in this life, is His life, plus nothing” We are called to His life. We are to take the simple yoke and walk with Him, being bound by the unforced rhythm of grace. Christianity is not just hard, (some people usually say, Christianity is hard) it is impossible without the manifestation of the spirit of Christ, in us. I have been very fascinated with the phrase “you can do nothing without me“. Recently, I told the Lord there are a host of things I can do without Him. Interesting right? I think I can cuss, do drugs, fornicate, and do all evil vices without the spirit help. I understand what Jesus was trying to convey to our advantage, was the importance of He behaving His life through us to live the abundant life on this side of eternity as we rest in His power. Without me abiding in Christ through regeneration and continuing to trust in Him to manifest His life of righteousness, wholeness, peace, love, joy and all that He is, Christianity is impossible.
For our minds to be corrupted from a pure devotion to the gospel of Christ, Satan has plastered the world with another gospel which points you to your human, effort to access the reality of His life. There is a form of wisdom in this form of self made actions, but it does not emphasize on the ability of Christ. Apostle Paul hammered on this truth;
See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces of this world rather than Christ (Collossian 2:8)
I will be trusting God to guide you through some of the elemental humanistic ideas which has crawled into our churches, destroying the liberty and the freedom we have in Christ. The duty of the Christian is simple; let your mind be consumed with the truth of the gospel. This is what is going to happens in your life….
So all of us who have had the veil removed can see and reflect the glory of the Lord. And the Lord -who is the spirit- makes us more and more like him as we are changed into His glorious image. (2 Cor 3:18)
That is exactly how one imitates Christ. You are not copying Christ. He is behaving in you through revelation of the beauty of Himself as you yield yourself to His word. Few days ago a lady was going around trying to tarnish my image for something I have no clue. I became so furious to the extent that I wanted to pronounce curse upon her. Remember, God wants us to love our enemies and bless those who persecute us (that is the quality life of God). To cut a long story short, I began meditation on these verses which commands us to bless and not to curse. What was happening was that, I was allowing God to express His love through me as I yield myself completely to the spirit directed activity. Friend there was no way I could have done this
through self effort. His word is Himself. His word is full of spirit and life.So many of us are struggling with bitterness, anger, un-forgiveness, lust, and all kinds of negative luggage. We cannot walk what we preach, until we rest in His word. The Lord told me; “anytime you ponder on my word and allow it to dwell richly in your heart, you are allowing me to express myself in you, effortlessly”. Take a text of scripture and hang on to it until it becomes a revelation in your heart, to affect your external life. Am not talking about scripture memorization….I am talking about a revelation of Christ in your heart. To God be the glory, anger was dispelled from my heart and love and peace had its throne on my heart. Alleluia!! Satan is conquered, through His life. Friend, you have already overcome. Share your praise report to encourage other believers and brethren in their Christian journeys through the comment section. Thanks and may you be moved your heart by His spirit to do His will and of His good pleasure

RHAPSODY OF GRACE
The Son of God, walked through the sapphire gates of heaven and entered a depraved earth, through the dark alleys of Sin, armed with true perfection and wholeness, to reveal who God is to the fallen man.
In His earthly life as the son of man, He was a mirror that reflected who God is and who He was in Him as a deity. (See John 1: 18, Hebrews 1:3) Godliness therefore is an expression of divinity through earthen vessels. Jesus did not wake up trying to overcome sin or being somehow careful that He will not sin against His God. That will not be a life of Godliness but a life of fear which is a byproduct of self dependent.
Most believers live daily focusing on how they will not sin against God, instead being God conscious, for His life to manifest in
them through faith. The Christian life is not a life of trying; Just as Jesus never tried to become what He already was. Righteousness is an imputed life of Christ on an individual, through grace so he or she can express the quality life of Jesus, effortlessly, on this side of eternity. To be sin conscious instead of Christ conscious renders the body Christ impotent.Without Christ we can do nothing. Everything God is, is exhibited by Gods children through the Holy Spirit in a very profound way. To be spooky and antisocial doesn’t make you godly, because godliness is more than that. Remember, all of us cannot become ushers, singers and pastors in the house of God. How do you therefore express God if u are not one of the aforementioned person?. Godliness goes beyond what we do in the house of God! To say it in another way…being in the house of God and going through the motions is has nothing to do with godliness. But i know being at church helps you to grow in the knowledge of Christ to reveal Him to the world. Spooky activities that ends in the Church has nothing to do with godliness.
If a believer plays soccer or football, he must demonstrate God on the field of play. How will he do that? Someone may say if u don’t hurt anybody on the field of play, then you are being godly. That can be true but why do we always define godliness as abstinence from wrong doing, rather than doing the right thing. I believe if you play soccer, you can trust God to express His creative ability, pace, flair and wisdom to make nano second decisions to outwit your opponents to make your team shine. You call that godliness?
For who makes you different from anyone else? What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not? (1 Corinthians 4:7)
Scripture says, what do you have that you did not received! Everything we have received from God in the form of talent or a spiritual gift is meant to be expressed in beauty, to the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Stop limiting God from sheer abstinence from sin and focus on how great He is, looking for vessels to express Himself, so the world can be plastered with the beauty of God.
I will give you a new heart and put a new Spirit in you….Will put my spirit in you and MOVE you to follow my decree (Ezekiel 36:26-27)
Christianity (Godliness) is the direct and the exclusive consequence of God’s activity in man. It is not
human ability or your capacity to imitate God, but God behaving Himself in you to reproduce Himself through you. (Major Ian..paraphrased) (See John 15:1-6) Sadly to say, most believers struggle daily, living the christian life, because they depend on their will power to make it through. God knows we cannot live a victorious life without the enabling power of the Spirit. You have become a conduit of the invisible qualities of God in your born again Spirit. Through rest in the grace of your position in Christ, you bear the fruit of God, through the Spirit activity in you. It has nothing to do with trying! (See Hebrews 10:38) Is a matter of faith. Faith in the spirit of Christ, working in you for the quality life in all avenues of life (See Phil 2:13)
If you feel weak or down today, it is not the spirit in you which is down (sometimes we say things like; “my spirit is down”). It is your mind which is under attack. Meditating and pondering on who you are in Christ will align your thoughts with mind of Christ and a new surge will quicken your life.In Charismatic and Pentecostal circles, we are bent on praying for hours and hours, sweating under the anointing (so to speak) trying to activate the flow of the spirit, so we can walk and do greater works, like Jesus. Many have prayed and fasted for years yet they are redundant in the things of God. Prayer is good, fasting is fantastic, but they don’t add up any value to the potency of the Spirit power in us. Whenever we pray, we are not rekindling or refining the spirit to work, but rather we are activating our consciousness to the ever working spirit in us. God is not dead neither is He lazy. He is ever active. If the scriptures points
clearly that the spirit that raise Jesus lives in us, you wouldn’t expect that Spirit to be dull. For that Spirit is God himself in us. (See Romans 8:11-14)Be conscious today, that the Father has been working till this very moment, and He is still fresh and alive in you, to take you to new heights in your Christian life. Don’t use any human means to access the things of God. Its a waste of time. Our religion is Christ, not self power.
… “My Father is always working until now, and I Myself am working” John 5:17
It is my prayer that we shall all plug into what God has done through Jesus and be delivered from the religious traditions of self sitting on the throne of our heart, in trying to manipulate the Spirit of Grace. May grace abound towards you mightily and in excess, that you always lacking in nothing in your walk with God. God is “too much” yet He is capable of expressing Himself in us. Christ in us…
