Hello, I’m Veronica

The sky is not completely dark at night. Were the sky absolutely dark, one would not be able to see the silhouette of an object against the sky.

  • YOU ARE NOT A SINNER BECAUSE YOU SIN

    Merry Christmas to all my cyber friends. Lets share the gift of Christ love. Shalom

    “Almost all unbelievers believe that, if they can change their behavior, they will be in good shape with God”

    Jesus, Our Savior, passionately and tenderly, declared His heartbeat, in the gospel, written by John:

    “I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me – I have other sheepthat do not come from this sheepfold. I must bring them too, and they will listen to my voice, so that there will be one flock and one shepherd. (John 10:14, 16 NET

    Jesus had a different attitude towards the unsaved, and the despicable in society. Jesus called the unsaved “other sheep”…I don’t have to delve too much into this. Wow! He is a shepherd to a detached sheep, wandering in the wilderness. This is so good to be true…it changes my perception towards the unsaved, and rekindles my passion to reach out beyond “his own” to tell the other sheep…

    CALL OF HOPE

     7 am.

    I woke up under the bridge;

    Smiled and strolled down,

    on grinding lane.

    2 am.

    I woke up

    Sat up, all night long

    Wondering why in the abundance

    Of life, I can’t steal a smile.

    Then I realized that, riches can offer

    You the best in life, but can’t guarantee,

    A lifetime of true happiness.

    5 am.

    I knelt down beside my bed and

    called on Him (God) who gives life

    O’ The Night Seasons

    Like a dispirited spectator, watch his
    favorite team, in a long losing streak;
    He sits quietly, on
    the cold wooden floor,
    staring at the dark ceiling,
    with a belly full of shame,
    guilt, and pain. His mind;
    running fast and furious, with
    hard-core life questions.
    He is on hell’s wheels,
    with no destination, in sight.

    Where do I go from here?

    How do I go from here?

    The void of hopelessness.
    What went wrong?
    Why, why, why me?
    A whirlwind of;
    Incurable disease, mix with dust
    Lack and dark secret chains
    Death of a love one, heartbroken
    Rejection, unpaid bills, looms
    Divorce and loneliness kicks in
    O’ the night season, is long

    O’ the pain is overwhelming
    How I yearn for the crisp mornings;
    Peace, life, and wholeness
    Earth-maker, please bath my heart with
    life, and free my soul, from the snare
    of the Fowler.

    …AND WE ALL SAID “AMEN”

    Milk for meat
    Hype for hope
    Lies for love
    Ashes for beauty
    And yet we all said “amen”
    Puppet master;
    Thy humble puppets, enthralled
    …and we have anointed you;
    To tell us …
    What we want to hear
    What we want to read
    What we want to watch

    You have executed thy duties, craftily;
    Tickling our ears to perfection,
    With feathers, dipped in murder
    Our souls; numbed
    our hearts; tangled in lies.

    The parade
    The confetti
    The Loyalist
    An ovation;
    To he who sits lonely on his throne;
    Feeding our emotions,
    In his own emptiness.
    Sensationalism
    Emotions
    Temporarily
    Seasonal
    Hypnotized
    Roller coaster ride…
    We are dead, like yesterday.

  • FOR BETTER FOR WORSE

    Sorry she doesn’t like invalids.

    But, you are not dead to be dismissed,

    He said with hope in his eyes, to his friend.

    Yes, I am not dead to be dismissed
    Am just a wounded soldier
    Am I not better than a dead lion, he asked.

    A caged bird;
    Am worth two in a bush.

    Like fish caught in an inescapable net,

    Adversity knocked, on his doors.

    He craved for death, but for the sake
    Of his kids and family, he refused to let it go

    Love kept him believing
    Love made him stronger

    The love of family and friends.

    The profound weight of his pain and

    Anxiety were wearing her soul down.

    The writing on the wall, predictable
    The look in her eyes, hidden behind

    Pretensions and impatience.

    Where is the love

    Where is the care

    How she had forgotten her own creed;
    For better for worse.

    She dismissed him like a corpse;

    Leaving him, helpless in a wheel chair.

    Maybe she needed love so great, to fill in

    Her own, dried reservoir of hope and care.

    salt and light
