what good in a fall?
someday, you will understand.
you will grow up to understand
that, sometimes, you need a real
fall; crushing your bones on the
concrete floor, breaking to pieces,
like Humpty Dumpty, on the side-
walk of life.
when you’ve learned to pick yourself
up, you will appreciate the struggle;
embracing the new window with heart
and soul.
what good in a fall?
fall from the clouds of pride
fall from the clouds of pride
maybe no one ever told you;
nothing is stable in the fluffy
cloudy foundations of pride
you see, we build our egos up
sky high above simple realities
of life; feeling superior over others
we feel invincible; walking on
the illusional clouds of self.
if pride goes before a fall
don’t you think, my friend
don’t you think, this is the perfect time
to fall consciously, from self dependence;
falling at the feet of Christ, to surrender
it wont be you again; making it happen
it will be Him, alone; making it all fall in place
therefore, fall
fall form pride
fall into His love
