I saw it.
Yes, I saw it;
My eyes wide open.
Alas, I lost my virginity.
I ate it; lost my identity.
Now am a man; lost in the
ocean of lostness;
time, urgently ticking on me.
Waves upon waves, beats
my weak back, throws
me off; thy lighthouse.
My addiction to rescue; my
only hope for a better tomorrow.
If you find me today;
throw me a lifeline
before I die another day,
in eternity pain.

I keep reading this poem back and forth. Yes, I wrote it! But I can hardly take my eyes off the image of lost in the ocean of lostness. The world keep sinking in the ocean of sin. The church keep sinking in the ocean of religion. We all need rescue, one way or the other. Am glad, Jesus saves!!

Bittersweet, lovely words, wanting to know and remind myself our anchor is the Lord. Beautiful.
