  3. Good to catch up with you again McDaniels, thank you for the Like on my opening page, yes I agree my focus is a bit different from others, with having humour included, but as Christians we all have the same Author and He gave us the gift of Laughter.

    As you shared God does not need us, He is complete in The Godhead or Trinity as They are called today but wonderfully He chooses to need us and so He created us to be in fellowship with Him, He wants our Love just as we want His, He created us to Love 100% and when we are perfected in Love we do Love 100% but we can ask at anytime and receive His Love so we can fully Love Him and others, the same as we ask for The Holy Spirit and receive Him. He also prepares in advance good works for us to do and equips us and empowers and motivates us to do them when we are a fit vessel, (2 Timothy 2:19-21) yes indeed He does choose to need us but as you also said rightly we are to always let God lead us and in all we do the Glory is to be His and He also uplifts us too.

    I would like to share with you McDaniels how even when I was not a Christian, God reached out to me, there was a song sung by Anne Murry called “He needed me” it was not known as a Christian song but as I realized when I started my Adult walk with Jesus, it spoke very much of Christian Truths. I could not get it out of my mind and at the time I was hurting greatly and it comforted me.

    P.S I just Love your message at the bottom, Wow to be so Loved and needed by our Awesome God and yes very True as the Scriptures tell us, there is no Condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus who walk in the Spirit not the flesh Romans 8 and it is confirmed in the rest of the passage and in other Scriptures too… How good is that!

    • Thanks so much…I always enjoy your depths. We always have this believe that when (for instance) we are hard on ourselves through discipline we will be able to live our own best righteousness. Righteousness is a free gift of God through grace. It is the very life of God appropriated through faith. There is nothing good in us outside of the life of God no matter how men applaud us. Joy is Him, Peace is Him, Holiness is Him, Love is Him, Healing is Him. We can only live the quality life when we recognize that in Him we live, move and have our being.

      This does not replace diligence and effort and put us in laziness ….our effort are Christ directed effort and not self occupation effort for His life.

Yes McDaniels very True, in Him we live, move and have our being, we were all created in the likeness of God but the fall left Mankind without the Spirit’s indwelling power, yet young Children Love, they Trust and they do not worry about being dependent, yes we still have some of the qualities that God gave us when we were created including creativity and emotion and we can experience and express some of the good that comes from our being created in His likeness but these can never be in there fullness until we are indwelt by The Holy Spirit and our carnal flesh has been put to death and we are perfected in Love. How God longs for us to have His fulness.

    We can use creativity for good or bad, we see both on the Internet, we can express anger righteously or in a fleshy way, the same as pride, we can have wordly wisdom and know all things or we can have Godly wisdom and know what is really important, we can Love selfishly or sacrificially but when we Love as God Loves us we are complete and we walk as Jesus did in Love,Truth and righteousness.

    1John 4:16-17 And we have known and believed the Love that God hath to us. God is Love; and he that dwelleth in Love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our Love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as He is, so are we in this world.

    1John 3:1- 12 Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness. But you know that He appeared so that He might take away our sins. And in Him is no sin. No one who lives in Him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen Him or known Him. Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as He is righteous, we are conformed into His Image and we have His mind.

    1 John 5:18-20 We know that no one who is Born of God sins; but He who was Born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him. We know that we are of God, and that the whole world lies in the power of the evil one. And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
