lacked ye any thing? any of the common blessings of life, food to eat, or raiment to wear?

“Then Jesus asked his disciples, “When I sent you out that time without purse, bag, or shoes, did you lack anything?” “Not a thing,” they answered.” Luke‬ ‭22:35‬ ‭GNTD‬‬

This morning, as a custom of few of the brethren and myself, we pray for the local church and the body of Christ everyday, from 7:30-8:00 am. During our intense prayer for Gods provision, i deeply sensed the presence of Christ; whispering these same words of scripture within my heart. Gripped with awe I picked my Bible after time of prayer and began to let the above scripture sink in deep within the places of my being.

Suddenly, I heard myself whispering these words; ”God, you have a budget plan for those you’ve commissioned, and they will lack nothing by your providence.”

GREAT PROVIDER: Our father is a provider. He meets the needs of his people. He has blessed us with every spiritual blessings in the heavenly places. These blessings are to be manifested in the physical realm through an act of faith on the part of the believer. There are times in our lives, especially when all looks cosy we sometimes have this sense of ownership of our existence.

We feel we are of ourselves in charge of our lives assignment. When that sets in you know pride has taken over. And pride always leads to a fall. God is our sufficiency. If you don’t see it like that and you depend on self ability or efforts, in times of deep crisis of lack you will completely shut down and burn out on every scale. The system of Gods provision is to help us walk with him through rest. Resting in his providence. We are not to grapple with worries and unnecessary concerns.

WE LACKED NOTHING: I don’t know what your needs are today. Friend, you and I can draw strength and find encouragement from the powerful response of the disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ when he put these questions before them. These words are an encouragement to me today, that God, where he assigned he also provides. No one’s goes to war and set a budget for himself. You are under the huge budget of the federal funds. So you don’t have to worry about all the basic needs as a soldier, in order to focus on your assignment. That’s exactly how our God works. He takes care of his business. Everything about us that fits into his purpose is his business. You are just a channel. He’s the source. The source of what it takes to fulfil his will on this side of eternity.

Jesus asked his own disciples: when I sent you to propagate the gospel, did you guys lacked anything? And they said, ”not a thing.” I know you truly understand the profound response; ”NOT A THING”. It means they lacked nothing at all; wherever they came, they had a friendly support system for accommodations; they were provided with every thing necessary for them; they had both food and raiment, and good lodgings in every place; the houses and hearts of men were opened by Christ to receive them, though they were sent out by him so empty and destitute.

God in his own right has set all the needed financial spiritual systems to fund his own work. That’s powerful! What do I mean by that; ”God in his own right has set all the needed financial spiritual systems to fund his own work.” When the disciples were sent, these guys had no idea where they will lodge and so forth. They just obeyed their master out of faith and set out for the assignment. True to their amazement everything they needed was met, for a fruitful outcome. They did believe in the one who had sent them.

SUPERNATURAL INTELLIGENCE: Sometimes we got everything twisted because of our lack of knowledge or intelligence of the methodologies of God. You can’t just use your head and numbers to figure everything out. No, it doesn’t work like that!! Everywhere God commands his word (his assignment) he goes before his word to influence physical happenings for an uncommon breakthrough for his people. That’s why it is important we pray daily to seek the light of God for illumination.

We need to understand how God works. We also need to understand from the Holy Spirit, the satanic manoeuvring in the realm of the spirit hindering our lives, and engage war against them. Until we grasp the mind of God we may go through endless lack and life limitations and accept is as a natural flow. No, that’s not how our father operates. He’s our shepherd and he wants us not to lack all things. (I know there are trying times ) Over here my emphasis is on endless lack. What should I do? We need to invoke the promises of God concerning the very situation we going through, through intense prayers of faith and humility of heart to influence the realm of Gods provision in order to provoke physical agents of men who may directly or indirectly line up with the vision of God upon our lives by the will of the Father. In the dire need of my family and the church, I had seen the heart of men moved by God to push his agenda forward. Sometimes you even wonder where this person got the idea to support you [financially, emotionally, materially, etc] beyond measure.

“So we went on rebuilding the wall, and soon it was half its full height, because the people were eager to work.” Nehemiah‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭GNTD‬‬

Friend, it is God! He is the one that moves the heart of people. It doesn’t matter — God can use anything, anyone. Yours is to pray and expect him to move on your behalf. Hallelujah!!

CASTING OUT. TAKE DOMINION: Satan also works to manipulate or avert Gods supernatural agents of change from having an encounter with you. He works that through many ways. He set up territorial forces and powers in the area of your assignment to control the actions of men against you. This happens a lot in the areas of those in ministry or directly engaging business within your community or city. You need to wrestle those powers in the power of God. Have you ever had a good idea to help someone then suddenly someone came with a bad report then you lost the drive to do so?

“I saw that the people were worried, so I said to them and to their leaders and officials, “Don’t be afraid of our enemies. Remember how great and terrifying the Lord is, and fight for your relatives, your children, your wives, and your homes.” Our enemies heard that we had found out what they were plotting, and they realized that God had defeated their plans. Then all of us went back to rebuilding the wall.” Nehemiah‬ ‭4:14-15‬ ‭GNTD‬‬

That is how the devil works — he came to steal, to kill and to destroy all good things that come our way so that life becomes unbearable. Today, by the power of the Spirit of Christ, God is influencing the universe and the people within it for your good. Anything that tries to withstand your progress and breakthrough shall not prosper. Have an expectation of goodness, because the good shepherd has surrounded you with all of his goodness.

Say to your soul; ”Nothing at all is missing, Oh my soul. You lack nothing. In Jesus name, all needs of mine are met according to Gods word.” There is a release of financial helpers and human resources. People with loyal heart, so dedicated to your Ascension. Amen!
