Romans 7:18 (KJV) 18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not
Christianity is not just hard, it’s impossible without Christ behaving himself in us. So much emphasis has been placed on self efforts, and willpower, more than resting in the indwelling presence of Christ in the body of Christ. We have confidence in the flesh that failed many generations before the manifestation of the Spirit of Christ, now living inside our born again spirit.
In the early stages of my walk with the Lord I heard a lot from the pulpit concerning self discipline, self denying, and man’s effort as the path to a victorious Christian living. I saw a lot of my friends succumbed to the pressure of life along the way. They loved the Lord but they lacked the strength to continue the journey. Their spirit was willing but the weakness of their flesh gave up on them after years of trying hard through self discipline, and willpower to walk in the plans of God. Are you weary and worn out? Do you feel the demands of Christianity is too hard for you?Let me show you the secret to an effortless life in God.
CHRISTIANITY IS CHRIST >>•• Christianity is never possible in anyway if Christ is not the focal point of your actions. I’m sorry for all those who boast in the flesh. Your ability can take you few miles, but the rest of the journey will be cloaked under hypocrisy, guilt, and sheer emptiness. You can never enjoy all that God is in Christ Jesus. Jesus says it this way to His church…
“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing (John 15:5)
CHRIST BEHAVING IN US >>•• To do of Gods good pleasure, and to walk in His perfect will, God must work in men, else we fail like the old covenant generation. So God is not just a giver of joy, peace, love, wisdom and what have you. In Christ Jesus, within our regenerated spirit, God dwells in us as peace, holiness, wisdom, anointing, power, safety, healing, creativity, innovation, excellence, freedom, etc. All the things we trying so hard to acquire is already in us. What’s inside you is Jesus. Did you get it?
Therefore we’re complete in Him by faith to bear much more fruit in our life if and only we are willing to come to the end of self, and let Him do it. How did you know that, McDaniels? Let scripture speak for itself >>•• “Colossians 2:10 So you also are COMPLETE through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.
The struggle of life is not because the devil is powerful. It is because Christ is not seated at the throne of our lives, as the chief umpire. Without me you can do nothing. Nothing means anything that’s is heavenly or divine related. You can do a lot of things by yourself, but it wouldn’t have substance in the end.
Always remember this; “all that you want to be is already in Christ. You need love? God has already given you love in your born again spirit through Christ. He has not given you the spirit of fear but of love and of sound mind. Fear is as a result of focal change. What do u see? Jesus or the prevailing winds? The more you’re focus on Him the more your life will reflect His life. Just as He is so are you in this world.
We are not like Christ in love and in power because our focus has shifted from Him to our own strengths. So today just trust Him as the catalyst of your earthly reality. We can trust Him completely to move and behave within us in all areas of our lives through faith. When that happens, the end product of our lives flows directly from Him. Weakness will surrender to His strength. Then Christianity is passiveness? Faith does not equate laziness. Faith bring good results to your actions. Keep on praying. Keep on working, but your eyes on Jesus.
I SURRENDER ALL TO YOU… WITHHOLDING NOTHING >>• We can surrender or continue in the weakness of our flesh. If fear, sickness, stress or sorrow is dominating your life today, my good friend, lift your eyes to Him by faith, as His life flows through your wilderness. Paul says it’s beautifully….
For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring Acts 17:28
I know without any iota of doubt, those who depend on the arm of their own flesh cannot experience the quality life of God. It’s a curse to put your trust in your flesh. Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD (Jeremiah 17:5)
BE WATCHFUL >>• There are a lot of self esteem, self motivators in our pulpit today, pushing men to do the things their natural capacity cannot do in God. They shift your focus from Christ; feeding your heart with man made ideals. Don’t be fooled by their 7 steps and 21 ways to bring the best out of your flesh. In the end you boast in your achievements and success. You can’t do the Christlike life without Jesus. Jesus is the answer. Get this revelation and let it sink deep into your spirit. This will be the outcome of your life; “God working in you, creating brand new desires, and purpose as the deer pants for water in the wilderness.” You’ll start seeing yourself doing all the things they thought you couldn’t do, effortlessly. Don’t give up. Hold on to the ever-flowing nectars of God.
For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him. Philippians 2:13
THANK THE LORD >>•• Just take a moment to thank the Lord for taking over your life. Trust me this will change your walk with the Lord. You don’t have to try hard again through human effort to be loving, bold, confident, peaceful, blessed, healthy, safe and sound. Your God is the ever-flowing fountain within you. You can do all things through Christ. Can you imagine the moisture of grace right now, as your spirit wrapped his arms on the pleasures of heaven? Freedom, freedom, freedom, is here, in Jesus name. Hallelujah!
