Humility is not how badly you look down on yourself and esteem others but how good you look on yourself from the mirror of Christ to be able to look on others with acceptance and respect. To be humble is to come to the end of self and be totally dependent on God.
We consider the poor, the moody, and the weak among us to be humble and those whose actions are drawn from the wealth of who they are in God as prideful. Wait until the poor becomes rich and the weak have a life makeover and you be the judge.

No, the Lord has told us what is good. What he requires of us is this: to do what is just, to show constant love, and to live in humble fellowship with our God. (Micah 6:8 GNB)
I love this post! Humilty is so misunderstood.

Our misunderstanding has made the Church so weakly and unappealing in the eyes of the unbeliever. Have a blessed day Kevin and thanks for your comment
