You never said: do it yourself

My blood tissue infested with;

I can do it without you virus

In my pride:

I became a disciple of Frederich Nietzsche

Our creed:

You are dead

You remain dead

We have killed you

In my ignorance:

I gave up on your blind walking stick

I know how to walk around without you!

My thought has become my god of attraction

Whatever I need, I can attract it by thinking positively

In his emptiness;

He is hiding behind a face, without true joy

A prison he has built against his own soul

Alas, he lives in a fool’s paradise;

 slowly slipping through the cracks into death

In my true hypocrisy self:

I lied to myself, when thy tender voice echoed;

Through the void in my aching soul

The struggle within this house; destructive!

In his deepest thought:

He is standing face to face with God and self

His scientific weak knee is jerking in His presence;

A being who from eternity to eternity;

is the fulcrum and essence of true existence

Amazed with such an awesome magnificence:

Tears of an end to old self; Niagara Falls

Words of surrendering; a mighty stream

I am, I am:

A lonely bird in a  jungle of hopelessness

Free my soul from the snare of  self

I am lost without you!

I am empty without you!!

In his change of heart:

He walked away with a fresh air of freedom in his steps

A new creed of conviction tattooed in his heart:

The life that I live not I that live;

It’s Christ that liveth through me

A HOLE IN THE GOSPEL| CHAPTER 1

In December of 2011, while we were in a 21 day prayer and fasting for the Church of Jesus Christ, I saw a vision of the Lord in my spirit, whiles I was sitting in my car praying with other Photo Credit: Google imagesbelievers in a phone conferencing…you can call it prayer hotline.

In this vision; “I saw myself and a host of Pastors or the clergy men in their official clerical regalia, each holding a PICK AXE; with passion digging a deep HOLE in the earth surface. This was one big hole…the effort and the passion we were actually putting into this business of digging deeper, is indescribable” I had a teary eye; a whirlwind of sorrow and hopelessness overwhelmed my whole being, as I watch everyone dig like a gold digger in search for precious gems. Instantly, an interpretation was given to me by the Holy Spirit. He said;

“THERE IS AN EMPTINESS IN MY CHURCH” He continued; “my servants have a dug a big hole of emptiness in the hearts and soul of the Church, and they keep digging deeper and deeper and deeper with passion. In time of test and trials due to the emptiness in their hearts (my Church) they struggle to prevail”. “Their prayers have all become an activity before me, they feel condemned and unrighteous; neither do they have an intimate relationship with me Their emptiness is perpetual. I am the only one that satisfies the thirsty, yet my servants are not projecting me unto My Church”

Colossians 2:8-10 (The Message) Watch out for people who try to dazzle you with big words and intellectual double-talk. They want to drag you off into endless arguments that never amount to anything. They spread their ideas through the empty traditions of human beings and the empty superstitions of spirit beings. But that’s not the way of Christ. Everything of God gets expressed in him, so you can see and hear him clearly. You don’t need a telescope, a microscope, or a horoscope to realize the fullness of Christ, and the emptiness of the universe without him. When you come to him, that fullness comes together for you, too. His power extends over everything.

Many in the body of Christ are standing on quick sands and slipping slowly into despair, because Christ Who is the only unmovable rock that will stand the test of time, is not the centre of their religion. Christ becomes the center of your religion not because you sing about Him or tell storie s of His good life. Christ is the center of our life when the life we live in the flesh is His life and all we do is to His glory. Self sits on the throne of ones heart when you, trying to rule, reign and direct your affairs in your own terms. It doesn’t matter how sacred that might look on the outside…that is not Christianity. Just as Moses lifted up the bronze serpent in the wilderness and those bitten by poisonous snakes (life complications) lived again, so must we exalt Christ Jesus like a neon billboard that, all that travels on the untested terrain of this dark tunnel of life, can draw life and light, to accelerate purposefully to their destinations.

CHRISTIANITY IS VERY SIMPLE – It takes complicated people to complicate the life-giving reality of Christ into human traditions and ancient philosophies, which is difficult to assimilate and process by the believer. Christianity is Photo Credit: Google imageChrist. Christianity is not techniques, nor 101 Rules, 7 Special Steps, 21 Keys of human wisdom to reach God! When you try to get access to the will and promises of God through human effort and concepts which sounds good to the ear, it always leads to frustration at the end. Your will power can only sustain you to a certain degree of life, but it has no promise to sustain you at all times. – Philippians 2:13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. – It is God, my dear friends who works in us to functions in His will and purpose. It’s only through the Spirit of grace that one can prevail over impossible circumstances and bear abiding fruits. For instance, one cannot and will not be able to live a life of true joy and peace without Christ. These two virtues are the very character of God, which emanates in us, as we abide in Him as covenant children, through faith in His finished work. You want to experience through peace? Don’t try hard to walk in peace…embrace the truth of God’s peace which has already been lavished on you freely as you set your heart on Christ. Meditating on His good opinion towards you in the midst of the complex issues of life, will calm your nerves with unusual peace which only God can give to us ( See Isaiah 26:3)

 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing – John 15:4-5

A SHOCKING STATEMENT BY A LEADER IN NEW YORK – Eastern religion and certain forms of human concepts and ideologies which have no root in Christ Jesus have gain inroads into the body of Christ. These beggarly, weak concepts which have been sold to the masses in the form of motivational mantras, to the neglect of the transforming power of the gospel. Many are in the Church today who have never heard the so good to be true gospel. The gospel is simply the good news of the Photo Credit: Google imagefinished work of Christ and what it has wrought for humanity, independent of our human effort. The clause of this gospel is faith in Christ…appropriating what He has already done. It is sad to say that, many believers sincerely love the Lord but the reality is that they have never heard the truth which takes the burden off your shoulders; all they have known in their entire Christian journey is the junk of emotionalism and self effort legalistic concepts, which has one into total emptiness, on the inside. I had the Chance to minister in a Church in New York City…I saw people literally set free from the bondage of guilt, shame, condemnation, sin consciousness. You could see their faces glistening with life; with tangible miracles of healings and breakthrough for God’s people.

What did I do? I shared the simplicity of the gospel, and the Holy Spirit went to work. After the conference, the Pastor was so touched by hearing the gospel in its unique way, but the sad part of this scenario is his open confession to me. He said; I know this is the truth, but if you keep emphasizing on it, people will leave the church! I was totally shocked! Many Church leaders believe that we were saved by grace through faith and not of our works that we should not boast (Eph 2:7-8) and yet they find it hard to live in the balance of grace and faith. What did you do to get save? Grace through faith! How will the Lord build His Church? Not by your methods and techniques; it is by grace through faith. Faith in what?  In the finished work of Jesus Christ. You don’t start the Christian life by grace and then God leaves you on your own, to live the Christian life in your own strength and effort. That is uncharacteristic of a loving God. Paul writes to the Colossians… So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, Colossians 2:6(NIV) This is so simple yet it’s hard for many souls to comprehend.

This was Paul’s greatest fear when He wrote to the Church at Corinth… But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. (2 Corinthians 11:3 KJV)

Do you know that the pulpit which is suppose to build you up can also end up corrupting your mind from operating from the simplest and yet powerful platform of the truth of the gospel which sets free. One great man has said; “wrong belief system always leads to wrong behavior” Christianity is not difficult, its totally Impossible without the life of Christ, which the gospel so much emphasize.

Please to capture the whole perspective of this post…read Chapter 2 here. Is the Church focus is to build and transform lives or to entertain with sensationalism and emotionalism? Chapter 2 answers this question!! Thanks for reading, and you have a graceful journey with Christ in your Christian pilgrim. Shalom

A LETTER TO MY FORMER CHURCH

Dear Former Church:

I hope you are not shocked to be reading my letter. I know it’s been more than three years since we crossed on each others pathPhoto Credit: Google image

Let me go straight to the point. I was reminiscing through memory lane; the years we shared together at East Effort Avenue, until I found the joy of experiencing a personal friendship and intimacy with Christ, which is based on His effort at the cross of Calvary. Life has not been a smooth ride, but I am really enjoying a restful journey – no more guilt, shame, fear and the weight of trying to be wholly on my own terms. It’s a simple principle of simply embracing who I am in Christ, through faith.

I don’t mean to be ungrateful; I was saved at your Church on good Friday of 1979, when the late Reverend Ray Ray preached that fiery sermon on the reality of hell and heaven. I learnt a great deal of things through bible studies and summer vacation bible school, prophetic crusades, street outreach, baptism etc. in my early years as a believer. The joy and the passion were great in the beginning, when all I knew was Christ and His eternal plans for me. I have now realized the reason the honeymoon didn’t last longer…my joy was depleted when I had to try on my own to embark on the Christian pilgrimage with a load of strict traditions and rules to abide with. Honestly, I had to fake it at all times…it was hard to live this life without Christ.

Recently I met some of your sons and daughters at a grocery store and was completely overwhelmed with concern about their attitude. They were Photo Credit: Google imageactually not doing anything evil but they didn’t seem to be happier, joyful and peaceful in themselves just the way I have known them in the past. I figured it out perfectly, because I was in this same bondage years back. I didn’t know then that God has not given me the spirit of fear but of love and sound mind in my born again spirit to walk in liberty and freedom. What a flood-tide of joy that sweeps over your soul, for the sheer knowledge that you already have love, life and peace through the indwelling Spirit off God. Against this background, do you really care enough that you’ve put too much burden on the people of God and yet it has no bearings in the word of God?. I know you exalt man’s traditions, rules, and regulations more than embracing the free gift of grace. Performance oriented religion is a serious cancer in your skin, and it’s eating you of a life of victory. I know you’ve tried so hard through will power and self effort to please the Lord, and to also earn a mark on your score card, but your best day has never met the standard of God.

I feel very sorry for your frustration…I know, you sincerely want to do your best for God, but the truth is; extreme self denials and positive thinking techniques are allPhoto Credit: Google image carnal works of the flesh. God’s standard is too high and there is only one person who perfectly fulfilled the demands of God, so that you would not try but rather receive what He did on the cross on your behalf. He is called Jesus. I know He is like a theory to your dull heart and a doctrine encoded in your Church book for reading sake. He loves you with high-octane love, to personally display His life through you as you rest in His power, through the indwelling Holy Spirit. Does that sound too good to be true? Hear Paul, the Apostle of grace echoing this truth;

Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

I am being blunt because it hurts when you’ve turn house of prayer into a prison where people worship you like God. I mean you are the center of your religion – many have come before you and walked in the same route you have chosen, but because wisdom was denied from them, their pride was their fall. I hope you will not tear this letter into pieces; you will never learn wisdom if you’re thinking, I am not a theologian to emphasize on doctrinal issues.

More importantly, I have so many things to ask you but let me leave you with this; you taught us to love our neighbor but we never loved our neighbors from different denominations. I thought the Church is a living organism; bigger than your little Chapel at the store front, which has been customized into an attacking arena, and a lambasting Club against other Churches you deemed as “unspiritual and not part of your assembly” instead of turning it into a greener pasture for hungry souls and a spiritual extension of all the local Churches which calls on the name of the Lord.

I hope you’ve stopped exalting yourself before vulnerable people who thinks Godliness is rooted in your platinum deals and the wealth you’ve surrounded yourself with, instead of Christ. Please don’t vex; I am not trying to tell you what to do or to be mean. Am just throwing light on things you’ve probably not paid too much attention. I am not in any way envious or jealous of your wealth and prosperity. It is truly the will of God that we prosper – I am very much concerned about your lack of desire to exalt Christ before the eyes of people who are so hungry for the truthPhoto Credit: Google image which sets free. I know too well that, it is through the preaching of the gospel, that one can experience the quality life of God.

Since I left you and your religion; many of your prisoners call me a heretic and disown me like their ancestors disown Jesus, because He ate with sinners and the ugliest in society. I would have falling into the ditch of your pettiness, had I not been aware of the good and favorable opinion of God towards me. I am loved, accepted and highly favored by my Father in heaven and His perfect love cast out all my fears…there is no time to waste being consumed by your rumor mongering tactics. I never woke up without praying for you…because His love compels me to do so, than to nurse bitterness and resentment.

I know change is coming your way; which will blow your socks off. For the first time you will know how God loves you unconditionally, independent of your performance and Church traditions. This joy will set you in motion for the deeper life; in and out. I know how we faked up righteousness, holiness, peace, joy, sanctification for others to appreciate us of living the life, but the struggle on the inside was very hurting. I know how you feel because we were in it together. Swallow your pride and let Jesus takes the wheel for an effortless journey of resting on His ability through the highways and byways. If that sound too good you want to hear more of the sound of amazing grace in your ears, please let’s meet at ihop and have some conversation. Lots of love to you!

Yours sincerely

THIS PLACE!!

Pious faces everywhere
Calm hearts everywhere
Lighted hands up yonder to worship
Holy lips to sing angels songs
Hugs and holy kisses are free
This place smells like heaven
Yes! This place is heaven on earth

Stain glass proof windows tightly closed
Boxed in our own world no one sees
Fragrance proof doors to keep it here

Sullen faces everywhere
Heavy hearts everywhere
Lips of clay our silence to each other
Wrapped in pain, hugs are costly
This place smells like hell !!

Concealed in her purse the fragrance of love
From the roof top, a Macedonia call to action
This place smells like God has bled to death
With tears he beckoned; pour it out everywhere!!

She is afraid to be different
She is comfortable blending in
She is afraid to show forth her hidden identity
Her traditional bells sounds louder than her calling
Her sacred cows are more important than a dying world
She is Boxed in a religion of monopolizing God

RELIGION APPLAUDS BEHAVIOR CHANGE

greeceThe rich young man loves self more than God yet he had all the laws at his finger tips, and God out of his religious heart. When our heart is full of God (love) you respond to God’s word very natural, without struggle… Your heart has become pliable in Gods hand.

Mark 10:21-22  (NKJV) 21 Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “One thing you lack: Go your way, sell whatever you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, take up the cross, and follow Me.” 22 But he was sad at this word, and went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.

“One thing the world of sin needs is not their moral makeover or behavioral change; a transformed heart is the root or the cure for depravity. A life which only love (God), can give, through Christ Jesus. Don’t urge the world of sin to change their behavior. The rich young man has all his behavior (outward form of religion) in check by following the moral code of the law, but his heart was very corrupt.

Every religion applauds behavior change; it is only Christianity (Christ Jesus) that a person can experience inside –out change.

First the root, then the fruit is automatic. Are you anti moral change agent,  McDaniels? I am not against good morals but I do know through scripture that in of our self, on this side of Calvary, cannot transform our lives to the status of God. I believe that authentic change is the work of the Holy Spirit, and not man! Without Christ behaving His life through us, our desire to live the Christian life is totally impossible and equally frustrated.” The Just shall always live by faith – Faith in what? Faith in the person of Christ, to live the quality ( rebirth, regeneration) life through ordinary vessels.

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. 5 “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. (John 15:4-6 (NKJV)

Are you trying hard to live for God or you trusting Him to live through you effortlessly? I ask God for more of His grace upon your life, at whatever stage you find yourself in your pilgrim journey
