SACRED BLANKET

Wide oceans our great divide
Fettered soul sing Madiba blues
Cascading effusion of emotions
Cold feet stuck in a cold day

Reminiscing thy warm chamber
Tears, tears; thy beloved yearns
Enchanted to be with you all day
O’ how I long to be with you

Allured to thy chamber of intimacy
Cold guilt nakedness thy presence
Laying on thy sacred blanket of love
Union of flesh with divinity

        A whisper
          A silence
             A kiss
               A virtue
                  A smile
                    A life

Divinity dissolving cold depravity
I’m Lost in the bliss of thy chivalry
Holding on to thy warmth hands
A virtue of inner warmth my reward

Muted to the core; her pain
Shredded Hiroshima
Bleeding on the inside
No one knows
No one sees

Zipped lips
Contained tears
Fake smiles
Heavy hearts
A city of sorrow
No one knows
No one sees

Arrested hope
Frozen dreams
The grass withers
The flower fades
Time ticks on her
Who will save the day
No one knows
No one sees

Tazed to die
Flat on her back
Gasping for breath
Fear surrounds
Slipping slowly to oblivion
No one knows
No one sees

Freckles of light
My dark skies
Hope quickens
Joy galloping
Freedom bell rings
Heaven kiss her bride
The Morning has come

Death’s icy hands defeated
Death has been conquered

For the first time in 18 years
She saw her blue sky smiling
She smiled back; full of life
No one sees, No one knows
You know all things; she said!
