Hell broke loose trying to suck life out of the life
Heaven stood still waiting and watching with purpose
The quit brass bell hangs at the dark forest of Gethsemane
Seven steps away from friends he stood face to face with fate
Pain and loneliness pressed Him like a farmer press the olives
Time was ticking on him but none rose to the occasion to save the day
Those who love Him became like a whitewash sepulcher
Face to face with weariness, He was not fighting for Himself
For the weak, the broken, and the wounded he was ready to stand
Yet every step brought Him closer and closer to his wits ends
Shadows of the dark night in innumerable number watched
Like clouds of witnesses they shouted and screamed venom of terror
Their taunts hit like hammer on His bones but love kept Him going
Love painted a clear portrait of the future He craved for His own
He saw forgiveness, salvation and justification beyond the quit bell
Hope smiled again like lightning through the eerie darkness
Heaven came down and darkness dispelled with joy unspeakable
Heavenly host watched with joy as the Father hugged and kiss the Son
His lip drips like honeycomb; ABBA not my will but yours be done!
Heavenly host watched as darkness turns into day for humanity
Heavenly host worshiped, the earth stood still in awe of the Son
Hell and the grave watched in utter disbelieve
Hell and its host has been overcome by the lamb
He won it all for all that all may live as over-comers
The lamb has overcome, we will not be moved
The lamb has overcome, we will not be shaken

Yea, this is so true. One have got to press through the storm, because after a storm, there must be a calm. Thank God for sending His son to die on the Christ, so that I can be redeemed. Jesus has already overcome the world, therefore, I have already overcome my storms (John 16:33). Thanks for sharing. Be bless!

When weariness hits, so often we do not think of what our precious Lord went through. I have been very weary lately and I needed to see this today, thank you for your obedience to write these words. They minister to my heart.
