WHAT ARE YOU HEARING

The good news is not a bad news, showcasing all your mistakes and  how miserable your life is. Its about what Christ has done irrespective of our effort. Its the power of God unto salvation ( Safety, healing, forgiveness, well-being, peace and prosperity) For some reason, the gospel has become a mixture of more bad news and a little good news.

The gospel tells you this; “yes there is sickness in the world, there is pain, chaos and misfortunes, but you have already overcome the power of the wicked through Christ”. “You are no more looking at life from the window of trying hard to get healing or to walk out of pain. In Christ you are already healed through His stripes. This is the so good to be true news, that emphasize on what is already done on Christ Jesus.

Galatians 1:8 New Living Translation Let God’s curse fall on anyone, including us or even an angel from heaven, who preaches a different kind of Good News than the one we preached to you

HURTS – There is a lot of hurt people in our world today. Millions of people in this fallen universe can’t raise their heads up from the storms of shame, pain, poverty, and all the bad report of the media.

“If the Church becomes the center of emphasizing on the hurt of men, instead of feeding the heart with the glad tidings that set men free, then we are doomed”

As a Christian and a believer of Jesus Christ, going to church should give me a certain sense of assurance, that my heart will be watered with the so good to be true news of Jesus Christ. The news that gladdens the heart and convert the soul, from grace to grace. To feel condemned, downcast, and miserable in the house of God, through the preaching Gods word means you are not hearing the gospel. The gospel paint a picture of your glorious position in the finished work of Christ. The gospel does not place a burden on your shoulders. Neither does the gospel evaluate you on the basis of your circumstances. You are evaluated on the basis of Sonship. A new creation in Christ Jesus. You are a child of the King – the old slave house is destroyed, and now you are anew in Him. ( See 2 Corinthians 5:15-17)

There is now therefore no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1)

Sadly, our churches are filled with people who have become accustomed to being lambasted through the preaching of the Angry-baby-at-the-Givenchy-showword. Religion put people into prisons of fear and guilt, just to motivate men to chase God with desperation. We are not to serve God in desperation – like servants seeking an opportunity to meet the King. Serve God with an attitude of rest. God is nearer to you than a friend. And I don’t think we operate from desperation when we want to meet our best friend. He is a friend and also a lover, who breathes upon you with jealousy. His hands are always stretched to lavish you with goodness.

WHAT ARE YOU HEARING? –  Do you have the hope and the peace of Christ within your heart; in your walk with God? Do you feel restful or condemned? Are you tired of going to church? Friend, if church feels boring and scary for you, then you must be in a wrong place. There is nothing as beautiful like going into the house of God and having the confidence that the beloved has invited you to His banqueting table and His banner of love will be waving high through praises, worship and in the preaching of the word. In such an atmosphere, you are indulged in the fountain of uncommon grace, which flows from the rock, who is Jesus Christ. I entreat you to feed on the loveliness of Christ, and guard your heart from the other gospel which places burdens and yoke upon your heart. You are what you are hearing. Your persuasions of life are built on the foundation of what kind of words you have accepted as beliefs. Find a grace centered ministry, and drink from the cup of Jesus; reaching the full stature of who you are in Christ.

IS GOD WILLING FOR GOOD?


THE SEARCH (POETICAL ECHOES) – Depravity hold the mind of the mortal in darkness. Like Christopher Columbus, we set a path for out feet; Looking, asking, and searching for the truth that will set us free. At long last, her dusty, sinful feet has found a home; to bathe the mind. Wash me thoroughly, make me whole; the living waters of His Christ. Questions looms in her mind, as she has been taught to believe; “Not all things can be handled by the creator” “Every pain and trouble are there to punish us and teach us some lessons”. She had hoped the messiah is very willing to set her free from this addiction. She gathered the courage, asked the preacher man; ” is God willing to set me free?” She listens quietly… these words ; “Sometimes, He put burdens on us to train our spirit.” So God gives and take away?

GRACE STOOP LOW – Grace means, a loving God stoop low to the unclean zone of the sinful, the sick, and the ostracized; lavishing them with His goodness. The willingness of God for the healing of our souls is very paramount to the work of the cross. Millions of believers have been wrongly educated that, it’s the will of their Father in heaven for them to be broken in pieces through life challenges, so that He might get the glory. Your pain does not give God glory – He dwelt in the beauty of His glory. And He has called us to share in His glory. Alleluia

Mathew gospels paints a better picture of the heart of your Father, through the healing of a leprous man. Remember, anytime you read the words of Christ in the Bible, you are encountering the very heart of your Father in heaven. Why? Listen to Jesus; “John 5:19-20 “19 Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in like manner. 20“For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and the Father will show Him greater works than these, so that you will marvel.

THY WILL BE DONE ON EARTH – The heart of Jesus is the heart of the father. What he saw, heard, in the higher consciousness of being, whiles on earth, is the revelation of the graciousness of God. To continue from where we left on the healing of the leprous man, let scripture do its own work. Scripture records that:

Matthew 8:1-3 New English Translation (NET Bible) 8 After he came down from the mountain, large crowds followed him. 2 And a leper approached, and bowed low before him, saying, Lord if you are willing, you can make me clean.” 3 He stretched out his hand and touched him saying, “I am willing. Be clean!” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Had Jesus replied to him, “aaaah I am not willing at this time, because your physical condition is surely promoting the kingdom of God, so hold it for five more years and lets see what God will do.” That would have been an insane answer from a man who was full of grace and truth, to set humanity free from the clutches of the wicked. What are dealing with in your personal life? Do you feel your condition has not improved because you haven’t been good enough or you are on God’s hit list? Here is the good news that should set you free once and for all. Jesus said to the Leprous man; “I am willing.” Oh, glory to God for His manifold blessing – He is willing ( that assurance that God is willing is the hope that will sustain you through difficult times)

THIS TOO SHALL PASS – Does not all things work for our good? Surely all things work for our good. Are you not talking about Romans 8:28? Truly, one of my favorite verse of scripture. Romans 8:28 New English Translation (NET Bible) 28 And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose,

Because you are chosen, through the finish work of Christ; all things in this life, which was sent to destroy us by the devil will surely work for our good. Friend, God does not work for the devil – sometimes we get caught up in the notion that, the troubles of life gifts, sent to us through the hands of Angels. No, no, no, my good friend. Satan came to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus came to give us an abundant life (Read John 10:10) – a life which can only be derived through our relationship with God through Christ Jesus.

This is the beauty of scripture – everything that happens to you in this life; whether it’s by your own irresponsibility, satanic, or human orchestrations, you can hold on to the willing heart of the Father to save thy soul from the dark dungeon of the wicked. I don’t know how to give up in life. It’s not a matter of how disciplined i am – it’s all about my persuasion of the loveliness of the father to always touch my hands and whisper to me; “Son, I am willing” “Come out of this hopelessness, into my graceful embrace.” The fallen word does its worse, then God make all things work for our good.

FEED ON LOVE – I urge you today to believe in the everlasting arms of your Father in heaven. He cares about you and its willing to give you a fresh start, if you have falling from the peak of the mountain, to the bottom. Receive love, and thank Him for his willingness to see you through the dark seasons of life.
