Be careful you don’t consume the words of the negative soul. You will become his expectations, loosing your fire in the end. There are a people without the spirit of truth in their hearts but a venom of the mamba on their lips. Of such men, the Lord shall preserve your soul from their attacks

“Dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ said would happen. They told you, “In the last times there will be people who laugh at God and do only what they want to do—things that are against God.” These are the people who divide you. They are not spiritual, because they don’t have the Spirit.” (Jude 1:17-19 ERV)

Beware of men who are on the loose to demeaning your God at every given opportunity. The Spirit warns us explicitly that in the last days there will be scoffers. A scoffer is a person or people who speaks scornfully of you — Your God, your faith, your journeys, especially in difficult times. We live in a time when men have zero reverence for the things of God, and people will do anything, through hell or high waters to weaken your faith and keep you off-track by the things they say

GUARD YOUR GATES

Watch out against men who do not have the Spirit of Christ in them and are unreasonable about matters of faith and hostile to your progress in life. They will tread you down on your soul with words that cuts to the core of your being until your confidence is sucked out of you. For such men, watch out! Guard your soul against their world. Don’t give them the space, where your heart can be easily hurt. Remember, the goal of a scoffer is to make you or something look undignified in every shape or form.

Psalm 1:1 “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful“

Jude exhorts us to go strongly on this path of faith by building upon our most holy faith. You can’t be comfortable or lenient about the evil word of a scoffer. You counter that not by throwing tantrums but you rather spend time to building your faith in the Lord. It has been predicted that such men will grow wings in the last days. They are functionaries of the devil and their aim is to weaken your drive in the Lord.

“But you, dear friends, use your most holy faith to build yourselves up even stronger. Pray with the help of the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves safe in God’s love, as you wait for the Lord Jesus Christ in his mercy to give you eternal life.” (Jude 1:20-21 ERV)

TWO SPIRITUAL PROTOCOLS

Two essential protocols of the spirit are prescribed by the Holy Ghost through His servant Jude, to neutralise the wiles of suffers. This is our advantage…

Firstly, he entreats us to pray with the help of the Holy Spirit. Our resolve can be tested sometimes but with the help of the Holy Spirit through prevailing and consistent prayers we find strength and wisdom to thrive. Pray and pray and pray more. That’s the secret to every overcomer in the spirit. Don’t consume the words of negative people. You will stress your soul and probably give up. Go to the Lord in prayer and cast your fears and worries at His feet. He shall restore your soul with life.

Secondly, he admonishes us to keep ourselves in the love of God. Do you know how powerful that is. Without the furnishing of the love of God in our hearts we can easily become a prey to the ridicule and abusive words of men. When you are strong in Gods love towards you, you will surely pass the test of time. With his love burning inside your heart you’re nestled in His assurance. If the King is in love with you nothing else matters but in the consciousness of His love purpose and freedom will be established. We all seek some form of approval in life, right?. Without His love in our hearts, we tend to look elsewhere for approval.

Brethren, our greatest expectation is not in buying a new car or a mansion in Miami or the Carribeans though that won’t be bad in itself. Our greatest expectation and desire should hang on the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ in His mercy, to give us eternal life. This is the expectation the devil will do everything in his power to try to sway us from, through the medium of scoffers who are everywhere and are busily working to weaken our faith in God. Be steadfast and immovable in the faith, through trials and temptation of sort. Maranatha Come, O’ Lord!
