In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old – Amos 9:11
God is the greatest innovator in history. He’s the master builder of all time. He’s not only capable of releasing his imagination into reality. Without a doubt he’s the only God who has the power to fix back our brokenness to its primal beauty, as if life was never tampered by chaos. Almost all humans look up to Him for the grace to build our lives to the highest peak of purpose. Are you yearning for the wisdom to start or the grace to rebuild your life after a hiccup? Whatever your position is today, there’s hope for you in Christ to walk into victory.
A SHAKEN — Moreover, there are countless number of humans under God’s heaven who are also going through a shaken, a breaking, a destruction, a collapse of sort in their lives. Sometimes the degree of the collapse maybe deemed impossible for restoration, when they measure the depths of your fall. It could be a business venture, a relationship, the seat of your emotions, ministry, or your spiritual commitments; terribly declining.
REJOICE NOT OVER ME — The greater the fall or the breaches within our lives, chills of fear seizes its opportunity to creep into our souls, giving us a million reason live will never taste glorious again. I’ve been there before in ministry, and so many aspects of life — when everything you’ve labored for collapses in front of you, scattered in all the places, and nothing seems to work, no matter how hard you try. Colleagues will start making fun of you, gossiping about you. Some will even go to the extent of convincing their own soul, that you’ve sinned against God, instead of them to stand with you, encouraging your soul. Good friends may abandon you, even your own shadow may follow the crowd, leaving you to rot in shame.
EXPECT A MIRACLE — But, here is the good news — God is able to close all breaches of life; healing the old wounds and memories of the past. He’s capable of raising up the ruins of our lives. Those things in our lives which were steady and strong some weeks back, or many years ago. He promise to build and restore us to days of glory. I dearly believe in a God of restoration. He can create, and he can also restore the years that the caterpillar and the cankerworm has eaten. Expect Him to fix your life again. Yes, the life which is in despair now, because of a divorce, separation, or the lost of a love one.
JUST BELIEVE — Friend, your God will not leave you in the hands of your enemies, as you sit on top of the rubble heap with your hands over your head, whiles the wicked gloat over you. He will surely restore the fortunes of your business, prosper your wayward children, restore your ministry, your dignity, and build your self esteem back, even to the very core of your spirit. Just look unto him today, faith in your eyes, and rare patience within your heart.
GREAT LESSONS — Don’t be in haste, running around for solutions from people. God will always use your downfall to teach you great lessons you can pass it on to others. I’m taking about life incredible lessons only pain can teach you. It’s not easy, but he will grant you the grace to endure to the end. God will prove those naysayers wrong. May God receive praise, honor, and power today, for he has remembered the reproached, and the beggarly. Oh, builder and restorer of our lives, we thank you for lifting us from the miry clay, setting us on the rock to stand. Amen!
