YOU ARE MY PRAISE: THE VIBRANT PRINCIPLE FOR SUPERNATURAL CHANGE!

The believer is encouraged by scripture to approach all of life difficulties with the right attitude, instead of being bundled with anxiety and worries. Paul writes; “My brethren, when you find Photo Credit:shugsprisonblog.blogspot.com -yourselves hedged in by various trials, consider it a pure joy” (James 1:2) and to also be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus (1 Thess. 5:18).

How that sounds oxymoron!  Why should I be thankful when life hurts so bad? We are thankful to God in all circumstances not because we accept the condition (sickness, poverty, hurt or pain) as something God is testing us with, to prove our faithfulness. We are not being motivated to accept life challenges as our fate. It is totally wrong to accept anything bad as your destiny. God want to give us good things. As a matter of fact, every good gift comes from Him. When we rejoice through the storms of life; We are not surrendering to adversity but rather, we acknowledge Him as our very source of hope and deliverance, who has already made a way out through the power of His grace.

To worry over life issues seems to be the path so many believers are treading upon today. They are either worried whether it is God who is punishing them for not doing too well in their Prayerchristian faith or somehow God is not capable of delivering their soul from the snare of the wicked. David said my help comes from the Lord; a very present help in times of trouble …(See Psalm 121, Psalm 46). How many of us by worrying can add an hour to our life span or activate joy to affect us mentally? It has been scientifically proven that worry and stress are two great siblings who can take you to the grave before your time. You matter to God. You can’t die before your time my friend! Hear the words of our Lord Jesus Christ; “Matthew 6:27-31 (NIVUK) 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]28 ‘And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labour or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you – you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, “What shall we eat?” or “What shall we drink?” or “What shall we wear?”

There is a powerful principle in Jesus teaching, about trust. Having a great deal of understanding that God is the source of the quality life for the believer is the first step to freedom. We can trust the Father for all His sufficient grace to walk in victory over the evil works of Satan instead of being torn apart by our surroundings, through doubt. Watch this in Verse 31: “He said so do not worry, saying! What is the point? Worry leads us to saying all the negative stuff instead of affirming the positive. Don’t say what shall I eat or what shall we drink or what shall we wear, Jesus said. Those are questions of doubt and not of faith. How does Jesus wants us to handle the pressure? God simply want me and you to trust Him through it all! Jesus was saying something like; C’mon folks, why are you losing your mind on something God can handle” Why the sweat and self effort? Have you forgotten the birds and the grass of the fields? Your Father in heaven feeds the birds and clothe the grass, even better than the arrays of the richest man that ever lived”. Are you not better and important to my father than the birds of the air?. “Stop worrying with all your complaint and doubts and start believing that I am your source”.
When God becomes your praise and affirmation instead of confessing and affirming your woes, you are aligning your life into His purpose. In the natural environment of faith through love, God dwells and do wonders. The Psalmist, being surrounded by innumerable forces of the wicked did acknowledged God as his deliverer, who is able to save him from all of his fears. He boldly declared; “But You are holy, Enthroned in the praises of Israel. Our fathers trusted in You; They trusted, and You delivered them. They cried to You, and were delivered; They trusted in You, and were not ashamed. [Psalm 22:3-5 NKJV]

Friend, your God is a deliverer! He can be trusted! He is wholly whole and completely complete in Himself, lacking nothing. He sits as King of Kings over our case when we adore and laud

Yes God can and He will fix where life hurts. Just surrender it all to Him!

Yes God can and He will fix where life hurts. Just surrender it all to Him!

Him as our true King and dearly Father. The word praise in the Hebrew is halal pronounce haw-lal’ which has the connotation to shine (fig. of God’s favor), to praise, boast, be boastful, to be praised, be made praiseworthy, be commended, be worthy of praise or to madly make a show of your God by shining forth a celebration of who he is and who you are in Him. To talk about your problems seem to be the usual way many have been taught, to pray to God. Friend, that is not what Jesus wants us to approach negative situations. He want you to speak to the situation by the authority invested in you, as a child of the great God. Always speak to your problems about the goodness of your God and not rather to tell God about your pains. Mustard faith must speak against the mountains of life.

Make God (Rapha) worthy of your praise as you fill your mouth with life giving words, to shine forth His glory, power and anointing over the clouds of negativity which always imprison your mind and hinder you from enjoying the abundant life”. One of my favorite scriptures in the bible admonish us to return to the Lord with words; “Hosea 14:2 (NASB) Take words with you and return to the Lord. Say to Him, “Take away all iniquity And [a]receive us graciously, That we may present the fruit of our lips.

We see in chapter twenty of second chronicles; King Jehoshaphat and the people of Judah returned to the Lord with words of; “He is good and His mercies endures forever”,e14bfd323fd344_2f_9_76efb21b-post when the latter were disturbed by a  diabolical plan by a confederacy of nations, to annihilate Judah. Paul and Silas returned to the Lord, singing Psalms and hymns, in Acts Chapter Sixteen when he and Silas were severely beaten and thrown into jail. In both of these situations, God enthroned among His people with supernatural deliverance and favored them gloriously, because they were shining forth who God is and who they were in Him. When God’s love filled our thoughts, perfect love from God will cast off the restraint of fear. Faith shall be unleashed when it seem like everything has come to an end, as you talk, pray, sing or thing about God’s great power to save. Your words are your songs or communication tool to the realm of the spirit. You are either in alignment with the principles of God or succumbing to the ways of Satan. Get out from the pity party my friend and immersed yourself into an atmosphere of praise and worship of the only God who is mighty to save, and see His salvation grace envelope your soul with supernatural restoration. To Judah, God ambushed their enemies and gave them effortless victory. In His great power, He shook the foundation of the prison holding His servants with an earthquake. The result of faith in your God is always beautiful. Are you dealing with a bad situation? Agree with Job today; “I know my redeemer lives…” (Job 19:25). Let it be your prayer and confession.

Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my praise. (Jeremiah 17:14ESV)

Start now! Sing and talk about God’s love and His desire to want to see you prosper in all things. This may seem as weird, a thing to do when you have been diagnosed with an incurable disease or you are going through all kinds of trials, left and right. I urge you, if you can’t even open your mouth to say a word, let your thoughts be governed by His goodness towards you. To Jehoshaphat, Paul and Silas, boasting in God was probably not cool but they chose not to depend on the arm of the flesh or sitting in the dark, asking why. He is good and His mercies endures forever, to me is the greatest weapon a christian can rely upon. “I know am sick and down, (I am not denying that I am not) weak, empty, sick, broke, confused, rejected and broken, but God you are good towards me, and your mercies and grace is taking care of this situation”. This is a fantastic outlook of the faith life, when one boasts and become still in His God. Friend, the Holy Spirit, always goes to work in your life just as He did in the life of Paul and Silas, and the people of Judah.

I DECREE & DECLARE: “Healing rivers flow like a mighty ocean through my veins, skin, flesh, and tendon, and over every organ in my body today! I praise you my great physician, for thCAK6I5WFyou have save me from the perils of pain and rescue me through the power of the Holy Ghost, in Jesus name. “I boldly confess that your peace, righteousness, and joy in the Holy Ghost is the hallmark of my daily life. You are highly lifted up over my case and save me from the arrow that flies by noon day or the terror by night. For my help comes from you, heavenly Father; you dearly watch over my life through this storm. I will come out unharmed,  through faith in the power of your son Jesus Christ” Amen!

Precious one, you can now expect only good from the Lord. Let your gaze be fixed in all the precious promises of God in Christ Jesus. See you on top of things! Have a blessing and a joyous life in Christ Jesus. You are an over-comer in God. You win!!

  3. In the middle of a situation where fear and worry come easily. Hubby and I stop ourselves and say aloud that there is a reason, a purpose and a plan for what we are going through. We begin to praise and pray and then we repeat 😉
