My Savior is a great shepherd. My Jesus is a good shepherd. Each sheep at His sheep pen are His favorite. He watch over us with equal attention and rejoice over every one of us with gladness of heart. He is in the midst of us, in the midst of the storms. He calms us with His over the top love. Even those who are overwhelmed with sin and their heart fails in fear, and the ones wounded in heart, through trying times; He carry upon His shoulders and send them to quiet waters, to refresh their soul. From the riches of His abundance, we drinks to our fill and eats to our satisfaction. All we ever needed, He anticipated and made super abundant provision, for our daily benefits. We are the sheep of His pasture, and all that He has is ours.

Amen. Great post. I am always struck by the fact that we’re ALL His favorites! Only God can pull that one off. You also quoted one of my favorite Old Testament passages. God sings over us…no condemnation, just joy! You’ve got to just love God’s over-the-top, hyper, super abundant grace and love. 🙂
