THE RESTORED LIFE

The Christian life is not all about a destination goal. We are not hustling through hell to get to heaven. The Christian life is an exit goal. From the word go…we were fully empowered with the divine nature, to walk in total victory and wholeness with great smiles on our faces. Why do we smile in the midst of complex challenges? It is in Jesus declaration at Calvary; “It is finished!!

For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord, because they have called you an outcast: ‘It is Zion, for whom no one cares!’ (Jer. 30:17 ESV)

The world may see you as an outcast. Friends and family may write you off due to your predicament. The song writer says; “I’m not moved by what I hear neither do i got moved by circumstances’ “I’m only moved by the word of God”. The opinion of men can only persuade the hearts of those who are ignorant of how God feels about them. The heartbeat of God towards His children is pure, extravagant love to see us walk in total wholeness. Zion is a perfect portrait of the New Covenant Church. She is labeled as an outcast; whom no one cares because of her many wounds! Satan’s major trap to the people of God is to always distract us from the caringphoto credit: Google image and affectionate heart of our Father in heaven. He points you to how unworthy you are (plants outcast mentality into your soul) and tells you that you never receive any good thing from God. He whips your emotions with rejection, shame, guilt and condemnation wars. Zion was bruised and battered on all sides of life with emotional, physical, economical and wounds or all sorts, but she was not beyond the reach of the stream of God which makes glad the city. Friend, God’s word is still alive today as it was thousands of years ago. God’s word to Zion is so therapeutic, as you read it slowly and embrace it into your circumstances with faith; “For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord” – Jer 30:17a

Beloved, God saw the nakedness of our lives; the wounds of our souls and how far we were separated from Him in weakness. Our sin placed us in a deep dark hole without rope to climb out of dispair. Out of love, God sent Christ Jesus into our delusional world of emptiness to restore us back to a relationship of wholeness with God; nothing missing nothing broken life. The word Restore is a beautiful word from the Lords language… (Hebrew root word hkwraaruwkah or hkraarukah ) which is pronounced; aroo-kaw’ ar-oo-kaw’ and means longevity, prolong, made up, perfected, wholeness or restoring soundness. Jesus has perfected all things through His blood for the believer and has restored us to health and soundness in our born again spirit. You can lift your head from the clouds of darkness and breathe hope, because you are not a defeated person trying to win in life through self occupation. Victory is already established in you. Greater is the God who is whole and complete on the inside of you than the troubles that surrounds you. Jesus is the restorer of all things!!

Are you experiencing a low time in your marriage, businesses, finance, family, ministry and your relationship with God? You can find comfort in Christ my friend, as you set your mind on the restorative power of the blood which speaks better things than the blood of animal sacrifice and see wholeness spring up from the wells of your salvation. God has perfected your children with wisdom and grace to walk in victory instead of shame. My friend, for calamity and destruction that shakes the foundation of the wicked and destroys them without trace; He will sustain your life with good health, success, durability, longevity and prolong all that concerns you in perfect peace and prosperity. Wisdom, guidance, comfort, health, strength and solutions is released in abundance for you today to excel. Thank Him even at this moment….stop everything you are doing now, and bless God for uncommon health and prosperity through faith, in Christ. alleluia!!

Jesus came down like rain on our unfruitful land and did changed the game. Your life is a witness of His finished work. Imagine a scenario where the Photo Credit; Google imagerelationship of a wealthy man and a poor fellow being broken for decades in a small town. Out of the loving-kindness of this wealthy man; seeing the condition of this poor fellow languishing in misery, wounds, poverty, hopelessness in the dark alleys of the city. He reached out with compassion and restored him to full covenant rights of favor, so that the wretched man can freely enjoy all the necessary benefits of true relationship. My dear friend, God saw how weak we were through our separation from Him due to the original sin of Adam, but stooped low and favored us through the death of His Son to restore us back to a place of complete wholeness to share in His riches of forgiveness and total life prosperity. Scripture records it this way;

“1 As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh[a] and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4 But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved” (Ephesians 2:1-5 NIV)

DECREE & DECLARE

Boldly confess and affirm the irrevocable promises of restoration over your body, family, finances, business and all that concerns you today, with your eyes on Jesus Christ.

  •  For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord, because they have called you an outcast: ‘It is Zion, for whom no one cares!’ (Jer. 30:17 )
  • Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours. (Isaiah 61:17)
  • “Then I will make up to you for the years That the swarming locust has eaten, The creeping locust, the stripping locust and the gnawing locust, My great army which I sent among you. (Joel 2:25)

“The Lord has set me a table in the presence of my adversaries, through my union with Christ Jesus! Father God,Your word is like medicine to my bones and health to all my marrows. You set me free from the jaws of death, confusion, pain, poverty, sin, weaknesses and restores my life with perfect health  from the soles of my feet to the crown of my head. By faith, I speak the wholeness of the finished work of Christ to shine in all spheres of my life today. Thank you Jesus for favorable restoration of quality life and prosperity. You went through pain at the cross, Jesus that I may enjoy a new life of righteousness and wholeness established through grace. I believe by faith that what I ask I have received” Amen!!

  1. McD thank you for another great blog. The words “God has perfected your children with wisdom and grace to walk in victory instead of shame” stood out, and pulled from my mind the parable of the shrewd manager. Judging not, yet knowing the mind and needs of others.

    Strikes me that Jesus modelled “good shrewd” for us as an alternative to judgement. Good shrewd being applied wisdom and grace. Not judging, yet looking inside the hearts and minds of others – to know their needs, their pain, their heart. Just as Jesus did. Victory being connecting to others their God in the way God wants. Touching the very spot God wishes. In the way and at the time God ordains.

    Victory is not “ours” or mine. Victory is getting it right for Him. Maybe …
