I’M HAPPY YOU ARE WEAK

A toothless man can eat a bowl of mashed potatoes in no time, but to eat an elephant, he will need gradual mastication mastery from the masters

I recently, saw a YouTube video of a woman from Nairobi Kenya, that really inspired me. This beautiful woman has lost both hands but manages to use her feet to lift her new-born baby and breast feed the child without any support system. In the video; she does all other chores at her home with such grace using her feet. I realized that we are wired by God in such a way that we can withstand any form of adversity, if we are willing to plug-in into the reservoir of His indwelling capabilities and strength.

Are you weary, worn-out and burnt out on life?

Are you weary, worn-out and burnt out on life?

Christ Jesus has become the spring of our salvation to quench our weary and worn-out life. Are you weary and tired over the complexity of this life puzzles and the rate to which we are bombarded daily with things that renders us weak and infirm. I thank my God that you are weak…God, really, do not need your strength to do anything. He needs your weakness to express or showcase His greatness.

I really, do not celebrate or rejoice over your pain and infirmities, but I do believe without any iota of doubt; your weakness does not make God angry and neither does it stop the flood tide of His over the top grace, which leaves on it path supernatural benefits and swallows completely without trace the barriers to the quality life. Your sincerity in weakness, tells God; “I can not do it on my own, without you“.  Living in denial or trying to handle adversity by your own sweat instead of dependence on Him is the pride of a heart reign by self occupation. When Paul was buffeted by a thorn in His flesh, the Lord kindly spoke peace and order into the heart of His servant…

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (HCSB) 9 But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me. 10 So I take pleasure in weaknesses, insults, catastrophes, persecutions, and in pressures, because of Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Do you know that the prophets of old saw the answer (Jesus) for the world of weakness and sin from a distance, and proclaimed it for our benefit? The 21st Century Church; we should not fold our hands with sad face and weakness in every front… acting like there is no hope. The world is not fallen on our heads; Christ is our hope and His grace is enough for all. It does not really matter whatever form or shape your weakness has evolved into, there is a fountain full of grace for the weary and the broken, who will look beyond their predicament and by faith draw water (abundant life, quality life) from the fullness of Christ in their born again spirit, to do the imposible.

Isaiah 12:2-3 (HCSB) 2 Indeed, God is my salvation; I will trust Him and not be afraid, for Yah, the Lord, is my strength and my song. He has become my salvation.” 3 You will joyfully draw water from the springs of salvation

images4B4QV10SYou have no excuse to throw in the towel or allow your dreams to fizzle into the thin air my friend. When you become obsess with your weakness and occupy your mind with what you cannot do, you will actually be reduced to nothing. Get up, stand up and don’t give up the fight; as you become conscious of your true identity in Christ Jesus.

Joel 3:10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weak say, “I am strong.”

ARE YOU COMFORTABLE IN YOUR OWN SKIN – Because many of us has a form of weaknesses (sometimes, it is well hidden under mascara or a brand name clothing) which makes us feel very uncomfortable and awful in our own skin. Because we have this wrong mindset of measuring to our sense of worth, significance, acceptance, adaptability and value through societal standards, instead of the truth of God’s word. Your true value as a child of the King cannot be defined by any man’s standard well accepted into the fiber of our society. Christ is your definition…It is recorded, just as Jesus is so are we in this world. (See 1 John 4:17) If you are not armed with this profound and precious truth, you will try to fit into the rat race of our culture by putting band aids on your pain and still act like you’re cool or recoil completely into your shell with a defeatist mind. Your thought line and confession will be full of negativity and impossibility like these ten negaholic affirmations listed below;

  1.  It’s all my fault
  2. God is angry with me
  3. It is my fate; I accept it
  4. I can’t do anything right
  5. This is absolutely awful
  6. There is nothing I can do
  7. It’s better to die than to live
  8. I just don’t have the brains to excel
  9. I can’t imagine ever feeling right again
  10. If I was born in a well established family
  11. Bonus: I don’t have the looks to be accepted

CHRISTED BREAKTHROUGH – Your breakthrough from this mold is not through the worldly system of positive thinking rooted in new age ideologies or following a 21 steps / 101 wisdom rules of men to overcome the fleshly nature. 21 steps or 101 ways always point you back to self occupation and self effort mechanisms to try to meet or earn what is already yours, freely in Christ Jesus. The sad reality in todays Church culture, is our willingness to follow the errors of man centered rules to try to access the precious promises of God to the neglect of the absolute truth of the word. Such formula always leads to frustration. If you are not able to perfectly follow Photo Credit: mckayschooleducator.wordpressthat form of prescription to the zenith, it means you will miss out on the desired end. Christianity is a life of faith in Christ, for Him to express the nature of God through earthen vessels. Faith in Christ my friend is what you need, to be able to walk in victory over the hump of this fallen world.

You are a living icon of a living God; your mirror the transcendent beauty and glory of Christ, as you behold Him with faith in your eyes. Whenever you become distracted from Christ you lose your real identity, and you arouse the weakness of your inadequate flesh. Most Churches today, religiously points and magnify the weakness of the worshipper, Sunday after Sunday (who doesn’t know his or her weaknesses) breeding weak, confused, broken, downhearted, weak conscious believers, who feels awful about their life without help. They are only aware of how weak and awful they are instead of discovering how God has blessed them with Himself through Christ Jesus, to partake of His nature on this side of life through faith. (See 2 Peter 1:2-3)

YOU CAN BE ANYTHING Here is the gateway to freedom, as echoes by Apostle Paul; 2 Corinthians 3:18 “But we all, with uncovered face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image, from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord”.

You can be anything God has intended for you to become, irrespective of your present situation, if and only you will trash all yourself efforts and allow the Holy Spirit to go Photo Credit: Google imageto work in the sensitive areas of your life where you hurt so badly or feel a restraint, and fill you with the fullness of Christ’s ability. This grace opportunity in Christ will dissolve the darkness and scars in your heart in a supernatural way. Do you want to experience from glory to glory progression? Did I hear a capital YES in my ears…my friend it is time to discover your true identity in Christ by asking Christ to unveil His beauty and who you are in Him.

Thank you so dearly, for taking the time to read this post. Before you leave, would you please share your joy of Christ by commenting on this post, and I will be more than glad if we can share a word of prayer, as we pursue new frontiers in Christ.

LET US PRAY – Thank you Father God for becoming our salvation and strength today. We relinquish all our weakness before you feet. We humbly embrace your unconditional love into our hearts to. Free us from all our fears and weaknesses. Thank you for perfect love and perfect acceptance of me (us) through Christ Jesus. I dearly thank you dear Father God for unveiling the beauty of your son Jesus Christ to my understanding and revealing who I am in Him by the revelation of the Holy Spirit. Amen!!
