Night times will come. Stay true to your creed. Stand by him. Stand by her. Be a loyalist. Through it all.

Forgive me!
“I want to sail
in your love”
He pleaded with her,
in the middle of nowhere.
His attitude: Almost took
the winds out of her sails.
I will build a house in
your higher notes and
live there with you forever.
I have had enough of this
silent low rhythm.
The constant struggle within
the human heart is an endless loop.
We become stronger and better
when we realize we are in it together.
The
Broken dreams.
The
Endless loneliness.
The
Weight of sin.
The
Disappointments.
The
Many others.
Be kind to all; instead of taking
scores of people’s mistakes.
Most gladly:
Jesus is the answer.

Glamorously she walked out of the bedroom
Virgin feet on the cold wood virgin floor
She looked through the window;
The window which faces nowhere
In her silent look;
She soliloquized 99 questions, but no one heard
Idea captured her imagination; lightening speed
She is enchanted by his silky voice and craftiness
A face for her he invented
Behind it she died, prayed, lived and died
She wore it so graceful
When she died no one knew she had died twice
Though she is dead, she still lives
Though she is dead, she still speaks
A face with feet walking on eerie Elm Street
Browsing through dark alleys in search for a new client
He is a romantic sniper;
Silently, he has killed all his prey with one shot
A cut through shot to the heart
Fairest daughter of the King;
Arouse not thy love until it so desires
He is too good to be ignored at first sight
She is struggling to control herself
He came here because of her
She is thinking it’s her moment
The voice in her heart; too loud
She can hardly hear her own voice
Shhhhh…
A silence
A flashback
She recollects mom last words on her dead bed
Out of her purse; a portrait picture she pulled
A perfect image of mom’s assailant is on the dance floor
A walk away to the exit door which leads to destiny; eternity
She was not ashamed losing momentary fame
The long silent walk through the side walk;
A victory lap to the podium for a gold medallion

In a world where total security and self-worth is justified by how many friends you can surround yourself with and the material wealth and fame you have. Our pressing desire for friends and material wealth to fill the vacuum in our lives has always hit rock bottom. We always find ourselves in a position to buy what we don’t need to impress on people to raise the level of our self worth and the evil tendency of finding ourselves in wrong company and wrong places at a wrong time is just a tip of the iceberg. They are all a façade and an illusion to the human quest for fulfillment. A new ride, a mansion and designer wear, a new class of people can change your status to size up with the best but I can bet you, in three to four months everything you have will lose its appeal and the cushion they give to you will be out-of-place with time. “Things” are temporal only God is eternal and when He is the center of what we have; what a great joy it brings”
People that come into our lives in God’s plan and purpose are to sharpen us to see the fullness of God in Christ and ponder that quality life of God to compliment our uniqueness in God but not to fulfill our emotional needs in and of themselves. Have you ever met a person thinking; “wow, this is a soul mate” “how cool s/he is and all that kind of stuff” and later when the layers of that person’s life begun to fall off, you realize s/he is not different from a demon? It is only men that have life that can give you life!
For instance, it is the responsibility of every husband to provide security, affection and love for their wives and family. Let me be realistic here, my friend…no man in and of themselves will be able to provide what they have not received from God, even in their utmost best. This means, man whether rich or poor will try in the best interest of their family to give out the best, but their best will not be enough to meet a woman’s emotional need daily. It is important that we shift our focus from man and look unto Jesus daily in our relationships, for Him to manifest Himself in their lives by faith that we may not be totally disappointed. The standards we set for mortal men who don’t have the quality of life or God or are living by that life are too high for any man to fulfill….the reason we see two people before the altar on friday and goes to the divorce court on Tuesday and all the inconsistencies in many relationships.
Don’t harbor bitterness against your partner or friends for their inability to meet your emotional expectations in all arena’s of your relationship. That kind of life will have an adverse effect on your destiny one way or the other and later be regretted for your high standards for a mortal man. Be thankful to God for his or her best life and trust the Lord to manifest in the dead areas of that person to compliment who you are in Christ. It is a defeated purpose to surround yourself with people who don’t have Christ life or the E-Life; chose your friends carefully, don’t propose to a person because of his or her looks and later to be caged in a prison of despair… because his or her cuteness and sexiness will definitely become very familiar and can’t also serve a purpose that only God can.
Friend, the words of Jesus to instill peace and direction spoken over 2,000 years ago still echoes deeply to the very foundation of our society for us to hear and apply the truth of His word so that we would be freed from the chains of materialism which contains our soul to the neglect of a loving God; “And He said to them, Guard yourselves and keep free from all covetousness (the immoderate desire for wealth, the greedy longing to have more); for a man’s life does not consist in and is not derived from possessing overflowing abundance or that which is over and above his needs”. (Luke 12:15 (AMP). Remember; “God is not against you having possessions; He is against possessions having you. Don’t forget He is called a Jealous God and wants no distractions in His relationship with you”. Christ must become the center of your material wealth and not the material wealth as the center of your life. Being anchored to sinking riches and mortal men is like building skyscrapers in sand, without a solid foundation to sustain the building for a longer time.
NOW WORD
‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’[A] As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring. (Acts 17:28 NIV)
