YOU ARE FULL: STOP PRAYING FOR FULLNESS!

Photo Credit: Google imageThe just shall live by faith! Faith in what? The Christian life is impossible or meaningless without the believer judging God to be true and faithful in what the cross has wrought for us. In Christ Jesus you have been supplied with all things to the fullest. To be conscious of your lack, weakness and impotence, instead of your fullness in Him cuts you off from the grace of God. You may think, I am not strong enough, holy enough, righteous enough, blessed enough, accepted enough, forgiven enough, loved enough, anointed enough or fruitful enough. Your bucket is not half full…In Christ Jesus you are complete and whole, but it takes faith to walk in fullness. You may ask, “How can I believe I am full when am already broke busted and disgusted?”.

Beloved, you can believe you are full because your life is hidden in Christ and He is full and loaded. Paul sounds the trumpet so loud in our unbelieving ears; “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and in Christ you have been brought to fullness. [Collossians 2:9-10a] Did you saw that? In Christ, you have been brought to fullness! That is good news, to rescue your soul from toilsome labor, guilt, anxiety, fear and insecurity for tomorrow. Stop praying; “God make me full and start recognizing your fullness in Christ through faith. You want to overcome sin and sickness? Recognize that in Christ your sins has been punished to non-existence and your life has been redeemed from the curse of the law so that you can enjoy good health, even as your soul prospers.

Ritual vs Reality

bio_major[1]There are a few things quite so boring as being religious, but there is nothing quite so exciting as being a Christian! Most folks have never discovered the difference between the one and the other, so that there are those who sincerely try to live a life they do not have, substituting religion for God, Christianity for Christ, and their own noble endeavors for the energy, joy, and power of the Holy Spirit. In the absence of reality, they can only grasp at ritual, stubbornly defending the latter in the absence of the former, lest they be found with neither! They are lamps without oil, cars without gas, and pens without ink, baffled at their own impotence in the absence of all that alone can make man functional; for man was so engineered by God that the presence of the Creator within the creature is indispensable to his humanity. Christ gave Himself for us to give Himself to us! His presence puts God back into the man! He came that we might have life – God’s life!”
