FACE THE WORD

We missed Him, almost all the time. We missed the breath of the living expression of God because we’ll chose to go behind Him, interpreting the letters, instead of standing face to face with Him in organic dialogue

We can’t interpret Him until He speaks, shine His light upon our hearts like a lamp shining in a dark room. We are dark rooms. We went for the light, so sadly, we went behind Him. We can’t see His shining face.

Oh, we have missed the piercing look from His eyes. We didn’t return with light but information. How can we be convicted in our darkness. How can our hearts burn with repentance. We left this festival with our own blurry accounts of the Lover, but we didn’t see His face. He never said a word because He never got our attention. Are we not false witnesses?

Some said they touched Him and He was the river that filled their desert. Some went to Him but they came back, more than a desert, only trickles of religious highs filled their belly. They never saw Him, they met the letters — the letter kill, the Spirit give life. They went behind Him when He was opened; our Sapphire gates. We missed that river that makes glad the city, the dwelling places of God

That I may know Him as He is, face to face; “Kiss me with your effulgence, every measure of me, take it away and fill me with all you are” This I will plead and more because He is most and more

We saw him with our very own eyes. We gazed upon him and heard him speak. Our hands actually touched him, the one who was from the beginning, the Living Expression of God.” 1 John 1:1 TPT
